We took the idea of Danish pumpernickel bread and made it into a beer...a variety of rye malts and noble hops give this beer its unique mild flavors and aromas.

On Tap and the Bend BP Cloudy dark brown with a small tan head. Light roasted and malty and sweet aroma. Fllavors were a rich dark but not overly roasted malty sweetness. Not much of the classic sharp rye notes. Low bitterness, and soft carbonation. Like a dark brown ale maybe.
