Dark black with a thin tan head. This was a huge stout with a lingering small amount of fruit in the flavor and aroma. Big alcohol and lots of chocolate this brew needs to warm up to be experienced.

On draught at Roscoe’s Holiday Summit. Deep dark stout with a noticeable, but not overpowering raspberry flavor.

Dark dark pour at Deschutes in Portland. Smokey complex with subtle raspberries. Quite nice!

On tap at fruit beer fest. Huge roasty/chocolatey stout with a great raspberry jam like quality. Rich sweet and tasty. Very much a beer not for a hot summer beer fest but still great.

Black pour with a nice creamy fluffy tan head. This is very sweet and the raspberry is prevalent in the aroma and taste. Also some other notes including some licorice and a little dark chocolate. Enjoyable.

140712. Tap at the brewery. Pours black with a nice small head. Aroma raspberry, burnt malts, chocolate. The raspberry gives a strange tingy ashy taste. Not Bad.

Aroma is slightly sour with salty licorice, tobacco and hints of ash. Flavour is dry with salty licorice, some tobacco and ash. Perhaps hints of raspberries in the finish. A bit unusual.

Pours pitch black color with small beige head. Aroma of raspberries, dry dark chocolate, hints of coffee and liquorice. Flavour of raspberries, dark chocolate, dark fruits and hints of liquorice. Fruity bitter palate, chocolaty dry finish. Nice.

Black. Very thin tan head. Tastes more like a coffee than a beer. Milk chocolate flavor. Hides the 9.5% alcohol very well.

Tap in Portland - Nice looking stout. No real nose, little carbonation, palate of chocolate and raspberry, could have aged a little more
