COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Foray is all about the journey. Belgian yeast delivers hints of apple and pear which blend with the citrus hop aroma for a clean even finish. So no matter where you’re heading, this a trip worth taking.

Bomber bottle to shaker glass, pours hazy light golden, two plus finger tight head. Moderate lacing and nice retention. Aroma of pears and pine. Taste is nicely balanced, lightly sweet, pleasing moderate bitterness. Light bodied, lively carbonation, smooth mouth feel. Finishes dry. Tasting notes of pear, lemon, grass, spruce and just a hint of funk. This is very well done, perhaps the best Belgian IPA I’ve tasted!

Poured clear light copper color with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate to heavy complex yeast and citrus hop aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy yeast bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. This is a good beer that exceeded my expectations.

Bottle at a local beer dinner. Pours a deep gold with an ample head in a small flight glass. Some lacing. The aroma is light citrus, fresh pasture, slight dankness, and cereal. The taste is at first the bitter hops and fresh citrus flavors, and ends with a more mellow slight dankness. The balance is well done and flavors compliment each other. Lighter body, moderate carb. Very good.

I’m usually not a fan of the "Belgian style- insert American style here" beers. This one works and works well. Aroma was nice. A little soapy with light malt and light fruit. Pour was a nice light straw gold with a half finger white head. Taste was delicious. The Belgian yeast was not in your face and sweet. Apple, pear and fresh cut grass with notes of lemon in the finish. Strong solid IPA and one of the best I’ve had in a while. Nice carbonation. I would buy this again

This was not as good as I have come to expect from Deschutes. Great citrus aroma, though

Pours *crazy* pale; almost like a pilsner. The colour is very pale. Aroma is loads of citrus and orange and mango. Taste js even better; lots of citrusy, sweet fruits; maybe even apple. Love it. Not quite Fresh Squeezed quality, but delicious. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

22 oz bottle. Tasted on 6/2/15. Bottle courtesy of Espo. Drank from a Spiegal IPA glass. This was a nice light body IPA with a Belgian fruitiness to it. Good beer for summer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
