COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Foray is all about the journey. Belgian yeast delivers hints of apple and pear which blend with the citrus hop aroma for a clean even finish. So no matter where you’re heading, this a trip worth taking.

22. Pours a cloudy dark gold with a thick bright white head. Nose of pine flavored bubble gum. Creamy medium body with soft carb. Bubble gum, pine, and grapefruit on the mid palate. A bit schizophrenic. Long dry resiny finish.

Cloudy yellow, white head. Bright Grapefruit, resin, light tropical fruit. Quite bitter, light malt sweetness. Slightly oily, medium body, kinda chewy. Longer finish. Good.

Draft at the side bar. Pours semi clear orange with a small white head. The aroma has a nice mix of citrus and Belgian fruity esters. The taste has a nice lemon and orange citrus with a bit of the Belgian yeast character.

on tap @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Nearly clear bright copper amber color, solid white head cover, sheets of lace. Nose filling aroma of sweet malt and hops. Taste is IPA, not Belgian Ale. Crisp malt begins to grow sweeter, but is overcome by citrus hops that, while not too strong, are still able to blot out all traces of anything else. Very satisfying and thirst quenching, goes down with ease, a solid brew.

This one really surprised me. Normally, I don't gravitate to the Belgians. However, I'm a really big fan of this Deschutes offering. It just has such a smooth, crisp and refreshing taste. My wife gets top marks for bringing this one home. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I had this at Global Brew. Pours gold with a white head. Taste Belgian yeast, citrus, sweet. I thought this was good. I would drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From a bomber pours very light golden color slightly cloudy. Smell is sweet malty and yeasty. Decent beer but expected more as I like most Deschutes a lot.

650ml bottle. Pale yellow, smallish head and lacing. Passionfruit and citrus on the nose. Smells Nelson Sauvin but points for not being overdone. Not a strong Belgian yeast character like Stone Cali Belgique for example but a nice smooth beer. Decent IPA overall.

Pours a golden yellow with a light fruit aroma. Taste is crisp and lightly hoppy with a faint floral taste. Overall, good with no complexity.
