3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz bottle from Evergreen Discount into a tumbler. Reddish amber and clear with a sticky off-white head. Aroma of citrus hops, tropical fruit, pine, herbs, rye and spices. Similar flavor, zesty and crisp with medium bitterness. Average body with a dry finish. Pretty fresh and tasty.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
This is a very tasty beer, not at all what you expect from a typical IPA. Easy drinking, citrusy, dry...has that clean Deschutes water profile. Perhaps the best example of a fresh hop beer iíve had.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle: thanks, Kevin! Bright, beaming copper with excellent clarity, fully filtered levels with a thick, bubbly, chunky eggshell cap that leaves lots of webbing behind. Aroma is very nice; mildly abrasive, sticky pines, woodsy hop leaves, like sniffing a tree. Earthy, faintly herbal, slightly ashy hop notes backed up by some ripe mangoes & tangerines, appearing both tropical & citric all at once. Malt is more noticeable on the palate, toasted bready & just faintly sweet, but providing good balance to the hops. More tropical with lots of mango, pineapple, & guava-esque tones. Slight orange peel back-end with an earthy, ashy, herbaceous finish. Awesome IPA... why is this is single bottles & not six packs?

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
(Backlog) 22 oz bottle. The look is clear, decent eggshell colored head, and copper in color. The smell is hops, fruits, tropical fruit mix, pear, and nice. The taste is a medium nice bitterness, hops, really fruity from pear to grapefruits, touch of sweetness but really

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Visual: Pours translucent bright copper brown, small foamy head, thin layer of retention, sticky lacing, several slow streams, suspended sediment.
Nose: grapefruit hops, toffee malt. (5)-aromatic strength.
Attack: incoming bittersweet hops, creamy texture
Mid-palate: (5)-sweetness, (MAIN) toffee malts, pine, tangerine
Finish: deep semi-sweet grapefruit bitter hops, clean caramel malt finish.
Summary: The freshness of the hops reminds me of a less boozier version of Sierra Nevada Torpedo Extra IPA. Great drinkability and body. (Note: numbers above are on a 10-point weak-strong scale)

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle bought by my wife from Merced,CA Costco for $3.97. Best by date of 10/8/13. Gotta teach my wife to look for this, as it is December 3. Oh well, Iím not picky, so I am going to drink it and rate it.
The Pour is cloudy gold. Honestly, I cannot pick out any distinctive aroma or flavor, but I do like the beer.

Light copper, clear, off-white head. Aroma: orange/tangerine citrus, light grassy notes, biscuity malt. Flavor: more orange/tangerine hops, fruity notes, grainy malt. Easy-drinking with big hop character.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Best by 15OCT13
Amber with a solid light cream sheet. Smells like tropical and citrus fruits with a bit of body odor and some cotton candy. Flavor is sweet with rich caramelized malts and some straight sugar, some lemons, some onion. Medium on heavy feeling with a sharp, moderate carb and a moderately dry finish. An okay beer, not impressive really.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber. Opaque orange brown, foamy off-white head settles and fades. Aroma of caramel malt and fruity hops. Fresh squeezed tropical and stone fruit taste dominates, lots of juicy grapefruit, a clean herbal bitterness and some sweet backseat malt. Average carbonation, light-medium bodied, well hopped. Scrumptious! MLF (More Lagerboy Friendly)

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured from bomber into my Deschutes snifter. Bright amber color with a cream colored head. Aroma has sweet caramel malt and some earthy hop notes. Flavor is light biscuity malt with a nice dose of citra and a little but of spiciness at the end - Iím assuming this is from the mosaic. Medium bodied with a slightly sticky mouthfeel. This seems a little underwhelming compared to what I expected based on other ratings. Just noticed that this beer (which I just bought yesterday) has a best by date of 10/05/13 - that might be part of the issue.
