2.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Odd that the label on this beer appears slightly different than the one in the picture - the letters are square and not squeezed crazy. Do they seriously have time to deliberate over lettering on their beer bottles? ’Member Westvleteren doesn’t even have labels. But anywhoos, this pours with a nice big off-white head and orange body with hints of brown. Lots of fruity and sweet hops on the nose, bubble gum, appetizing and layered. Flavour is a kind of muddy affair of graham cracker and hop notes - all those aromas don’t translate into a seriously hoppy brew sadly. Medium on the mouth. Missing a few key ingredients it seems.

355 ml. bottle sampled @ “Sir Goatie McGoat S&G Tasting”. Thank you Mathieu87 and/or PriorL! Hazy orange, little white. Nose is massive dank orange, fresh hop, clean, orange peel. Very dry orange peel taste, dank, rich hops, grapefruit. Very dry body, nicely dry & strongly fruity IPA. Very nice beer.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a dark caramel color or dark orange hues with a good creamy head of retention. Aromas big peach, medium pine, light caramel, or fruity with a touch of grassy. Had to give this a 7 for flavor mostly due to the way the flavors are mixed or brought out. The fruity peach and grass get mingled and the medium caramel takes out some of that hop punch. The pine is lightly present. Overall you get kind of confused after the wonderful aroma blasts your senses then hits your tongue and your left saying to yourself, "WHAT happened?" Medium sweetness and bitterness.

UPDATED: APR 28, 2016 Pours rusty dark for an ipa, not hazy, little head. Great lacing. No carb, no effervescence, not bitter or dry. Fruit finish without fruit. Very juicy ipa.
Lack of bitterness makes it unique for ipa. Very nice citrus flavors, some light melon. Really tasty and refreshing. Not many big production beers like this.
Not dry or bitter for ipa. Juicy, refreshing, hoppy. Really enjoyed this beer.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, best before 5/20/2016. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy deep orange/copper color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of huge grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, melon, passion fruit, berry, lemon/orange zest, light pine, caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Fantastic aromas with awesome complexity and balance of juicy citrus/tropical hops and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, melon, passion fruit, berry, lemon/orange zest, light pine, caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, melon, passion fruit, berry, lemon/orange zest, caramel, toasted bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity, robustness, and balance of juicy citrus/tropical hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from bitterness that lightly increases through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately sticky, and creamy/bready balanced mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is an outstanding IPA! All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of juicy citrus/tropical hops and moderate bready malt flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A highly enjoyable offering.
