COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This mouthwateringly delicious IPA gets its flavor from a heavy helping of citra and mosaic hops. Don’t worry, no fruit was harmed in the making of this beer.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a hazy copper with a one inch tan head that lasts. Taste is of malt, caramel, hops, pine, resin, fruit and some grapefruit. Similar aroma. Has a creamy body with a mostly clean finish. Easy to drink and rather enjoyable.

Mmm! Hoppy and citrusy. A nice tangy profile that is very smooth and well balanced. Deschutes is great!

Clear golden copper color, moderate white head. Orange, grapefruit, apple, pine, and some caramel malt. Pleasant blend of initial sweetness and lingering bitterness. Smooth, average carb, and a little heavier in body than expected.

Draft pour light copper. Nose sweet malt, mango and papaya. Taste fruit sweet mixed with bitter hop up front. Some papaya early and nice bitter late. Nice combo of fruit and bitter.

ALLOVATE (2338) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - JUN 20, 2014
Produces up a shimmering, russet copper with very sparse and very fine carbonation. Head rises to an inch of loose off-white wash and settles back to a flabby mess of suds. Quite a brightly hopped aroma dominated by plump grapefruit, peach and apricot notes and edged by pine-needles, nettles and toasted malt. Juicy, ripe, fruity palate that is also tangy, drawing and bitter in the back the way great fruit juices should be. Sweet, plump and rounded it heaves with tropical and citric notes before a quenching, well melded hop and malt swallow. Big bodied and low in carbonation meaning only a prickle is there to tickle the front of the tongue before and oily finish. The olfactories are awakened and kept on high alert as the fruit and musk permeates and dwells long. Resinous, well utilised, bright hopping means this tastes as fresh as the day it left the brewery. Nice, toasted, biscuity malt base and hints of pine-sap and needles gives it depth but it is the fruit that reigns supreme. This is delicious. Punches well above its 6.0% ABV. Fantastic stuff!! I LOVE this beer right now. My "go to" summer brew. Super floral and fruity IPA. Rich cooper color and a nice head. GREAT beer. Well played Deschutes.

Aroma is a little subdued but the taste is a big bowl of fruit. Almost fruit cocktail. Some malt in the middle with a lightly bitter finish. Great beer.

355ml bottle pours a pale amber color with a finger and a half of white head that settles to leave some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is caramel with some mild citrus. Taste is a citrus and pine hop bitterness with a caramel malty sweetness. Light to medium bodied with decent carbonation. A decent IPA which is mildly refreshing and an easy drinking brew.

An IPA from Deschutes, yes, it is perfectly balanced and delicious! Purchase more than one because you are going to want more once you start drinking it!
