3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Clear, darkish golden, with a reasonably abundant head. Big lemony, citrus nose, some fresh pine, light floral notes. Moderately bitter, nicely balanced against a good bit of sweetness. Medium body, very clean palate, quite chewy. Long finish, dries out. Very good.

Amber color with a ample white head. Aroma is citrusy. The citra hops come through on that first sip with strong orange / grapefruit taste. Finish is clean and crisp. A very good IPA!

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
"this was the weekly cask conditioned special at the portland pub, and holy cow was it good! huge hop aroma...citrus and pine, but with a woodsy earthy undertone to it and enough malt to balance. The flavor stood up to the cask, and the cask made the body phenomenal and the head and lacing everlasting. great beer. deliciously fruity in the bottle."

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: OCT 5, 2014 Pint on tap at Dutch’s. Keg labeled 6.4%. Clear orange red amber color. Thin off-white head. Leaves great, thicker lace. Flavor is kind of what you’d expect from a somewhat darker, reddish IPA. Some caramel, toasty malt, but also a really nice juicy tropical citrusy hop aroma, too. Moderate sweet taste, light to moderate bitter. Medium plus body. Smooth, lightly soft, kind of crisp lighter carbonation, a nice texture. Lightly slick. Pretty tasty, juicy, kind of sweeter IPA.
