This mouthwateringly delicious IPA gets its flavor from a heavy helping of citra and mosaic hops. Don’t worry, no fruit was harmed in the making of this beer.

Sweet mineraly aroma. Taste has notes of caramel, apples, and cheese. Finish is cheddar.

Bottle to glass. Pours a clear deep amber color with a moderate light tan head. Aroma is mostly hops, citrus and tropical fruits, with a hint of caramel malt and alcohol. Flavor is a bittersweet tropical fruit hoppy goodness. Light to medium in body with a lingering hoppy bittersweetness in the finish. Delicious beer, but unfortunate to say I had a couple weeks past its prime. Wish I could have tried it fresher.

Bottle sampled at a tasting event. From notes. Loads of citrus and tropical fruits all up in it. Another homerun.

Deschutes never fails to impress me. This is a delightful IPA with a citrus aroma and a bright taste of orange and lemon. Excellent mouthfeel and the finish is long and bitter. Well done!

UPDATED: MAY 3, 2014 Appearance - dark cloudy orange. Aroma - mild hops. Not as fragrant as others. Mouthfeel - mild bite from the carbs. Lingering hop taste. Taste - citrus hops. Nice and fresh tasting. Lacks the pine and wood flavor of other IPAs but is nice. Seems slightly maltier than others but might be but not s familiar with the hops in this. Overall - pretty nice. I like citra hops. Very drinkable. I like this. Less in your face than others like Enjoy By. Good.

Bottle, best by 11/23/13… I dig the date stamp, thank you! Pours a bold amber with about an inch of creamy beige head. Great retention and lots of sticky lacing. Pine and light citrus hops in the nose, but the maltiness emerges as it warms. It doesn’t scream fresh hops. However, that changes at first sip. Really flavorful citrus and pine, lighter in the florals. The level of bitterness is just right and the flavor of the hops is really noticeable. Malts are there, but definitely in the background. Lightly bready, but again the flavor of the hops come forward. Really good stuff, I could drink this a lot and not grow tired of it.

Bottle. The look is clear, decent eggshell colored head, and copper in color. The smell is hops, fruits, tropical fruit mix, pear, and nice. The taste is a medium nice bitterness, hops, really fruity from pear to grapefruits, touch of sweetness but really solid.

UPDATED: MAR 19, 2014 Pours a clear red color, fluffy white head. Aroma is huge grapefruit, tons of citrus, some floral. not much malt characteristics. Taste is resiny bitterness, kind of a soapy taste that I’m not too fond of, but it is very slight. good carbonation
