3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
LSU Gameday Tasting. Pours a bit dark for style. Malts have taken over a bit. Still an excellent beer, just which I had caught it a tad fresher. Bottle - Source Unknown

Really fresh hop citrus flavor. A mellow ipa that goes down smooth. A really drinkable and not over the top brew. Enjoyable.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was a clear amber colored body with a one and a half finger white foamy head that dies within a minute. Carbonation is seen rising at a moderate pace.
The smell had a strong mango and orange up front, super light caramel is there but only as it warms.
The taste was mostly bitter, but balances to a citrusy sweetness, mango/orange aftertaste, bitter dry finish.
The palate was about a light to medium, sessionable. Carbonation is what I believe to be great for the style and for me as a nice punch assaulting the tongue and mouth hits pretty good.
Overall, this is a great AIPA - bitter all around, but has a nice citrus sweetness. The carbonation adequately assaulted the tongue and mouth as it should. I can see why so many people like this as I believe I will jump on this bandwagon as well.

Pours a deep reddish copper color with a beady canvas head. Notes of sweet bread, candied apricots, flowers, and earth. Really good and well balanced.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
This is good stuff. The interesting thing about this IPA is that the surprising sweetness and subtle malt makes the bitterness disappear. Somewhat citrus and grapefruit type aroma with a smooth citrusy flavor accented by the malt sweetness. There is really not much wrong with this IPA...

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle sampled 3/20. Pours a dark amber with medium head. Aroma is caramel malt, tropical fruit, grapefruit, lychee, some pine. Taste is massive grapefruit, grapefruit peel, caramel, candied orange peel, slightly muddled and soapy pine bitterness. Pretty solid.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz bottle. The beer pours to a light amber color with a medium white head. The aroma has light citrus, resin & floral notes. The taste has a slightly funky dank taste followed by a mild malt backbone. Overall a good IPA.

On draught at the Moon Under Water in Victoria, BC. Pours a medium, frothy head atop an amber body. Nose of strong citrus hops and decent malt balance. Very likable IPA with a good grapefruit foundation, mildly herbal and a slight roasted finish. Pretty good.
