This mouthwateringly delicious IPA gets its flavor from a heavy helping of citra and mosaic hops. Don’t worry, no fruit was harmed in the making of this beer.

Bottle... Clear amber pour with copper highlights and a small, creamy, white head. The aroma offers a collage of toffee, pale grains and spicy, piney, resiny hops. Full-bodied with modest carbonation. The medium-bitter flavor issues a mixture of caramel, pine needles and toasted, crunchy malts. Lingering, acrid, piney bitterness in the finish.

Poured from the bottle of a six pack into a pint glass. I have purchased this beer twice and will continue to because of the taste. I can’t put my finger on it but the name really explains the flavor. Figure out a way to make it 7%+ without sacrificing that flavor and it will be my favorite beer ever, splendid work was done here, Great Job!

Fantastic citrus and tropical fruit aroma. Good, but not great hop flavor. Relatively understated and mildly bitter.

Pours a hazy amber, gold color with a 1 finger head. Aroma is of citrus and malt with notes of light resin with spruce. Taste is a smooth balance of malt with a toasty caramel note and a light but complementing hop bitterness. Leaves a medium bodied mouthfeel and I want more. Delicious

I had this at Global Brew. Pours amber with a off white head. Taste fruity, citrus, earthy. I thought this was good. I could drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: AUG 2, 2015 12 oz bottle purchased in Eugene and consumed on the banks of Oregon’s McKenzie River. Appearance: clear deep red-amber with a semi-durable, frothy bone-colored head. Excellent lacing. Aroma: Sweet with a touch of toffee and with a delightful but unexpected faint hint of fruit brandy. Way less grapefruit and hops aroma than expected. Flavor: A touch low in hops for an IPA, but the hop load seems well matched to the malt base, so no complaints. Fruity with both citrus (including orange) and tropical (including pineapple) elements. Mild bitterness is low for style. Feel: Lively medium carbonation. Nearly medium body. O: excellent, super-fruity IPA.

Pours a beautiful deep amber. Very strong caramel and citrus aromas, with a strong contrast of sweet and bitter. Balanced well but very intense, great sipping beer.

Sampled @ GBBF day 3. Lightly hazy orange color, small white head. Aroma is malts, lovely hoppyness, citra, lightly floral. Taste malts, a lot of hops, very fruity, decent bitterness. Average to medium body and carbonation. Nice.

Clear amber off-white lacing foam head. Strong bitter aroma and taste. Some fruit notes still. Lasting bitter after taste. (Houston 201408)

Bottle from GBBF 2014 and drunk at home. I am looking forward to this. I quite like Deschutes and this beer’s name excited me on the list. Clear dark amber almost russet colour with a big beige head. Some resiny hop on the aroma that gets through the big head. It’s not as hoppy as I thought it would be. Quite light and fruity and agile actually. Not a huge overpowering the senses beer, but a very drinkable, very quaffable fruity, orange fruity, satsuma fruity beer with moderate bitterness on the finish. Extremely sessionable I would have thought. Certainly gets marks for drinkability. The 355ml bottle lasted maybe 5 minutes. Lovely but in a very understated way.
