4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
22oz bomber (tasted mid June, 2013) pours with a clear copper body that supports a nice half inch tan head of foam. The aroma offers up peaches, mango, tangerine and grapefruit notes that are mixing with a mild sugary sweet maltiness. Smells alright. The taste is crisp, fresh, rich and thirst quenching. I get malt sweetened grapefruit and mango and apricot as well as sweetened slivers of lime. This is tasting first rate right now. If it was only a bit cheaper Iíd grab a bunch of this.

Pours clear amber with a white head. Good floral hop aroma. Grapefruit, some pine, fruity, mellow bitterness. A really good fresh hop IPA.

3.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
The Deschutes Brewery in Bend Oregon has done it again! Fresh Squeezed IPA has a hoppy floral aroma, an upfront malt taste with a bitter hop finish that doesnít linger too long, which leaves me wanting more.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
$5 bomber, not bad at all! These fresh hopped beers usually rock, this one for sure does. Super silky palate, tons of hops on the nose. Flavor is a mix of malts and hops, not bitter but good hop flavor. Nice work Deschutes!

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours dark copper one finger of head and nice lacing. Smell is not strong but malty notes, little floral, pineapple are noticed. Not much of that cat piss from citra is detected. Tastes like a little citrusy hop, caramel malts, bready, fairly pleasant bitter.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bomber pour..medium copper color..nice 1 finger head..aroma is citrus personified..orange..tangerine..some honey..slight caramel malt..medium bodied for 6%..this tastes quite fresh with notes of pineapple..some butterscotch..fairly creamy earthy texture that is quite approachable.light bitterness that doesnít really stick around...doesnt finish with as much bite as expected from nose..glad to be able to try this one however..

Very tasty. The fruity hops sure do stand out on the nose and initial taste. Finishes malty and smooth. Quite delicious, actually!

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
22 oz bottle from Malloyís (Lisle, IL). Really excited to grab this finally.. and at a 5.99 price tag? Sold. Pours a deeper orange amber pour, deeper dark orange hue, not really hazy, just subtle with a deep summer late sunset glow. Cakey beige head atop stays as a firm layer, stays sizable and laces ok. Very pretty beer. Aromas show a melange of fruit, grapefruit meets melon, some rind, gentle tropical fruit. Firm dryness, bigger citrus, some citrusy bite mix well. Firm florals, a good complexity although not as intense as I expected. Still, itís really nice with a bit of soap, tropical fruit, bubblegum, and bready malt. Initial is lighter end of medium bodied, a firm hop presence up front is a bit fuzzy, showing some bubblegum, melon, and citrus. Decent tropical fruit presence, some bready malt, gentle grainy and cereal feel. The hops are dominant but not strong, instead medium strength, coating well but not overdoing it (Which does work sometimes). Touches of orange, grapefruit and some rind oils element bitter up the middle, touches of fruit. Backend trails off with a firm bitterness that starts to die a bit. Florals, grass, and that citrusy element. A bit juicy, bready finish as the hops dry out, but not a really bitter finish. Decent bitterness is there, but overall the bitter bite up in the middle tapers out. The hops are flavorful but this isnít the most bitter beer. Instead, focusing on the flavors this hop combination creates. Tasty beer. A smaller body makes this pretty drinkable even at 6.4% which is a bit on the strong side. Pretty solid offering, nice display of the hops, lacks a bit of the bitterness into the backend Iíd prefer, but it is enjoyable. This is probably a 3.7.. but gained a point just due to itís pricepoint overall. I bet on tap it may even be more true to that actual score.
