This mouthwateringly delicious IPA gets its flavor from a heavy helping of citra and mosaic hops. Don’t worry, no fruit was harmed in the making of this beer.

On tap at the Steelhead Diner in Seattle. Citra hops make this IPA refreshing and satisfying. Would definitely be a mainstay of mine if Deschutes was available in TN.

Bottle to glass. Pours a copper color with khaki head. Frothy head appearance. Aroma is a nice hop balance with citrus, pine notes and slight sweet malts balancing it out. Smells great. Taste is great as well, with juicy citrus hops up front, citrus rind bitterness and a bit of earthiness. Light malt sweetness, and finishes moderately bitter but not dry. Palate is juicy, moderate carbonation and rather light in body. Overall, this is a great beer. I’ve had 6 over the weekend and can say it’s one of the best IPAs I’ve tried in the past few months. I’d say it’s similar to Cigar City Jai Alai.

On draft, courtesy of me. Pour is orange with a nice white head, decent lacing, spotty all the way down. Aroma is juicy citrus and faint resin. Flavor is totally citrus juicy, might as well squeezed and harmed a grapefruit and orange or something like that. Tropical fruits also present. Faint resinous and musty elements in there too. Strong sweet malty backbone is present, probably a little too sweet, but it just drinks so lovely. Mouthfeel slightly sticky but solid. A nice nice beer.

From 12oz bottle to shaker. Pour is a nice orange-bronze with a thick white head. Nose is huge citrus, sweeter hops, pine. Taste is bitter and sweet, light bodied. Finishes carbonated yet smooth. Really nice pound able beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Le couleur de cuivre claire avec une petite mousse blanche. L’arôme des fruits tropicales avec les agrumes. Excellente choix d’houblons! ;-) le goût est très similaire avec un amertume moyenne ou même léger pour le style.

On draft at the Taphouse. Copper. This is one malty ass muthafucka. Not hoppy.

Bottle. Pour is with a light white head that dissipates. Aroma is slight citrus hops. It is a copper color. I think my only complaint would be the caramel malt is a little heavy. It is a balanced IPA, but still heavy with the sweeter caramel. Hops are present and not overbearing. Solid IPA, just not my favorite by any means.

On tap at yard house Scottsdale. Pours amber with a thick white head. Aroma of bitter grapefruit, orangepeel, caramel malt. Taste is bitter grapefruit and orangepeel, grassy notes, with a slightly malty finish. Really crisp and citrusy.
