This mouthwateringly delicious IPA gets its flavor from a heavy helping of citra and mosaic hops. Donít worry, no fruit was harmed in the making of this beer.

Bottle at bottle share at Syb Pig in Boca Raton, FL. Snifter. Pours gold with haze and a white head. Decent lacing. Pine resin and light citrus on the nose. Some leather and grass as well. Taste is primarily pine and fresh cut grass. Smells a little like a bag of weed. Sort of a musty, hop taste. Bitter finish. medium body. Carbonated. Rather dry.

Nice rich head and subtle but full flavor. Not as hoppy as expected but still worth a drink now and then

Large off-white head. Hops dominate the aromas with both pine and some citrus, but some bread malt aromas are also present. Fairly heavy alcohol on the palate. Fairly sweet also. A long finish with heavy hop bitterness and moderate sweetness. Overall a quite good IPA with good hops, some sweetness and a reasonable malt balance.

On-Tap, this pours a dark amber color with a thick, foamy off-white head. The aroma is sweet with a touch of bitterness. The taste is smooth, mellow, malty, and finishes with a crisp bitterness. Clean and refreshing.

My first impression of Deschutes Breweryís Fresh Squeezed IPA was a good one. As I first poured it into my glass, I noticed it had a nice golden, light amber-like color. A good head settled on the top after pouring it. It looked delicious, but the aroma did not match the appearance. It looked like a good IPA, but it didnít smell anything like I expected. It smelled more flowery and sweet than hoppy; but I guess thatís expected considering it was brewed with floral hops. Good body and more flavorful than most IPAs, but the "flavorful" part is more sweet and flowery (as I mentioned earlier). It wasnít as hoppy as I expected in a good hard IPA, but it was there. The aftertaste was quite flowery with a hint of citrus. If I were to introduce my girlfriend to IPA, I would start with this. Iím not bashing it though... Itís a good change of pace from other IPAs. I could drink a decent amount of this beer without getting sick of it. Itís clearly meant to be a spring seasonal (this 6 pack had a flower paper cutout under the bottle cap making the beer bottle look like a flower), so Iíll definitely remember this beer come late March or April. This is my first review on this website, so donít take this review too seriously.

I was surprised I have not rated this. Standard gold appearance. Big citrus hop aroma and tons of citrus in the flavor. Few IPAs match this amount of fruit without some actual fruit in the beer. Lightly sweet, tons of hops but surprisingly no hop burn. Excellent ipa. On tap at a local bar.

I love the strong flavor at the start and the nice citrus finish.....went from drinking a poor mans beer to this lovely delight. I drank it straight from the bottle so appearance is not really a rate I can give properly.
