COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This mouthwateringly delicious IPA gets its flavor from a heavy helping of citra and mosaic hops. Donít worry, no fruit was harmed in the making of this beer.

UPDATED: JUN 13, 2014 From bottle. Almost amber golden color. Aroma is sweet honey citrus and tropical fruit. Taste is like a tropical fruit punch, with orange, mango, pineapple, and others. Not bitter whatsoever, a really refreshing IPA. Previously had this with fresh hops October 2012. Had through a Randall filled with mango and pineapple at Belmont Station during PDX Beer Week on Friday June 13th 2014. Compared with the original, it is slightly more tropical, but you really notice the great tropical fruit flavors in the original beer.

In short: A golden IPA with strange flavors of vegetables. Meh.
How: Bottle 22oz, consumed fresh soon after purchase, bottle sent to me by mcberko, thanks Matt.
The look: Clear dark golden (almost copper) body topped by a small beige head.
In long: Nose a bit fruity but mostly it is the wrong type of fresh hops, green fresh hops that smell like lettuce and even tomatoes. In mouth the beer offers a standard medium size ale mouthfeel, clean and well carbonated. Taste is moderately caramelized, some sweet dried fruits (dried oranges come out strong), some tropical fruits, some melons and also plenty of vegetables and more vegetables. Thereís really something about the way those hops were handled that brought flavors of lettuce, celery, tomato. Not entirely bad, but not something I want to drink ever again. The vegetable flavor in this beer felt as out of place as a hippie on linkedIn.

Dark woody colour with strong head. Grapefruit, malt and pineapple flavour. A lot going on. Chewy. Some interesting side notes that are hard to place; polish, cleanser, medicinal? Keep them guessing.

On tap from buddyís keg. Beautiful pour with slightly soapy nose. Man, this is tasty. Citra hops all over this. Floral, citrus notes, pretty high bitterness yet still a solid malt base. Extremely well balanced. Liked this a lot.

Had at Oakland Chop Bar on draft in Oakland, CA. Nice hoppy and piney aroma. Pours nice amber with a nice foam head. Tastes delicious! I am a Sierra Nevada fan and this beer takes the cake. Excellent hoppy balance. I definitely recommend this beer!! Revere Stryker dog!

Bottle, courtesy of my wife... in my dining room... just now.
Pours a bright orange color with a very big head and nice lacing on the glass.

The aroma is fruity with a good little bit of dryer sheets, some citrus & melon. Certainly hop forward, but not over the top.

The flavor is nice, itís a touch sweeter than what I would like in an IPA with a little bit of crystal malt heaviness. That said itís pretty darn hop forward with a nice bit of melon and tropical fruit right up front. The bitterness is towards the moderate to high level that intensifies on the finish.

Pretty decent IPA thatís been redly available to be for, oh maybe a year now that I havenít even given a shot till the last couple days.

I love this IPA. The perfect balance of hoppy greatness and perfect bitterness to make a wonderful IPA. If you are looking for a nice IPA try this out!
