COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This mouthwateringly delicious IPA gets its flavor from a heavy helping of citra and mosaic hops. Don’t worry, no fruit was harmed in the making of this beer.

Very tasty. The fruity hops sure do stand out on the nose and initial taste. Finishes malty and smooth. Quite delicious, actually!

A nice dark golden copper color with a half finger of cream colored head. Smells is dank hops, mango, orange, lemon, grass. Sweet honey sweetness with some grassy citrus bitter, orange juice, a little caramel malt but more of the fruit like flavors and the bitter sticks around but not obnoxiously. Good flavorful interesting IPA. Definitely feel the fresh squeezed lemonade, orange juice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Appearance: clear orangey gold, with two fingers of persistently thick, frothy light beige head and generous, sticky lacing. Aroma: very aromatic, lots of grapefruit and blood orange, light pineapple and marmalade; generous malt nose as well, with graham crackers, nilla wafers, and honey. Taste: extremely fruity, with lots of orange and lemon zest, kafir lime and a huge dose of pineapple juice; malts are very restrained, limited to some light whole wheat toast with honey butter. Finish: dry and surprisingly clean, with a lingering light bitterness that fades quickly. Notes: Wow. Expected a much more bitter beer, based on the big fruity hop aromas. However, it was actually on the sweeter side, but not from the malts. Very juicy, very tropical, and the bitterness came through as more of a dry note at the finish. This is a dangerously drinkable IPA that doesn’t molest you with a million IBUs. This allows the generous, fruity hops to really shine through with that unexpected sweetness. Just wow.

Flaske: Ravfarvet klar øl med et fint skumhoved. Duft af strand, melon. Superlækker. Smagen er også god. Fin moderne bitterhed som ikke dominerer. Klart den bedste øl jeg fik i LA. Clean og crisp.

Glad Deschutes decided to make this available year round. Copper color with piney aroma with subtle hints of toffee. Resin flavors dominate. Full bodied, almost creamy mouth.

Cannot stop lauding this beer. Deschutes has brought us an excellent example of how an IPA should be. Fresh, vibrant, and easy to get into. I’ve lost count of the number of people who "hate" IPAs but still love this.

Fantastically bright and smooth. Lots of floral and citrus notes. Medium to light body beguiles depth of flavor. Finishes well and leaves drinker wanting another.

Bottle poured in glass. Pours a copper color with creamy head. Aroma is a nice hop balance with citrus, pine notes and slight sweet malts balancing it out. Taste is great as well, with juicy citrus hops up front and a bit of earthiness. There is a light malt sweetness. Overall, this is a great beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Clear rust orange pour. Cotton candy, fruit cocktail in syrup, pixie dust candy aroma; the elements of bright hops are fully present and doused in sugar. When the veil of total chill is lifted, canned green beans and buttered bread are the prominent, ghastly features.

Gummy bear, tropical juice flavor with plain sugar and buttery caramel; there is so much sweetness, and so little desirable malt flavor. The slick, slightly acerbic or berry like sweetness of crystal malt is all there really is under the weirdly heavy sunshine of all the hops.

The body is effervescent and medium in texture, breaking down quickly at the finish. Unbalanced in unpredictable ways, this hop-candy beer is downright confusing.
