COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This mouthwateringly delicious IPA gets its flavor from a heavy helping of citra and mosaic hops. Donít worry, no fruit was harmed in the making of this beer.

Bronze pour with a 3-4 finger, fluffy, oily khaki head that has excellent retention and leaves very nice lacing. Aroma is loaded with pine, cat box and passion fruit, lots of citrus and tropical notes in there, but those are the three hop notes I really pick up on, the hops pretty much drown everything else out, a little toast and caramel and some sweet fruity notes, smells very juicy and delicious. Flavor is again, loaded with pine cat box and passion fruit, some sweet orange, berry, chewy caramel, nice toast and biscuit notes in the middle, and rolling in toward the finish come tons of fruity esters and (largely tropical) fruity and citrus hop notes. Medium body, chewy, juicy feel throughout with a light to moderate strength, blanketing carbonation. Very good, it reminds me of some of my better heavily dry hopped+keg hopped homebrews. Seriously good beer. One of the best, new to me IPAs in a while.

Poured from the bottle of a six pack into a pint glass. I have purchased this beer twice and will continue to because of the taste. I canít put my finger on it but the name really explains the flavor. Figure out a way to make it 7%+ without sacrificing that flavor and it will be my favorite beer ever, splendid work was done here, Great Job!

Fantastic citrus and tropical fruit aroma. Good, but not great hop flavor. Relatively understated and mildly bitter.

Pours a hazy amber, gold color with a 1 finger head. Aroma is of citrus and malt with notes of light resin with spruce. Taste is a smooth balance of malt with a toasty caramel note and a light but complementing hop bitterness. Leaves a medium bodied mouthfeel and I want more. Delicious

I had this at Global Brew. Pours amber with a off white head. Taste fruity, citrus, earthy. I thought this was good. I could drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz bottle purchased in Eugene and consumed on the banks of Oregonís McKenzie River. 4.5 3.8 4 4 Appearance: clear deep red-amber with a semi-durable, frothy bone-colored head. Excellent lacing. Aroma: Sweet with a touch of toffee and with a delightful but unexpected faint hint of fruit brandy. Wayless grapefruit and hops aroma than expected. Flavor: A touch low in hops for an IPA, but the hop load seems well matched to the malt base, so no complaints. Fruity with both citrus (including orange) and tropical (including pineapple) elements. Mild bitterness is low for style. Feel: Lively medium carbonation. Nearly medium body. O: excellent super-fruity IPA.

Pours a beautiful deep amber. Very strong caramel and citrus aromas, with a strong contrast of sweet and bitter. Balanced well but very intense, great sipping beer.

Sampled @ GBBF day 3. Lightly hazy orange color, small white head. Aroma is malts, lovely hoppyness, citra, lightly floral. Taste malts, a lot of hops, very fruity, decent bitterness. Average to medium body and carbonation. Nice.

Clear amber off-white lacing foam head. Strong bitter aroma and taste. Some fruit notes still. Lasting bitter after taste. (Houston 201408)

Bottle from GBBF 2014 and drunk at home. I am looking forward to this. I quite like Deschutes and this beerís name excited me on the list. Clear dark amber almost russet colour with a big beige head. Some resiny hop on the aroma that gets through the big head. Itís not as hoppy as I thought it would be. Quite light and fruity and agile actually. Not a huge overpowering the senses beer, but a very drinkable, very quaffable fruity, orange fruity, satsuma fruity beer with moderate bitterness on the finish. Extremely sessionable I would have thought. Certainly gets marks for drinkability. The 355ml bottle lasted maybe 5 minutes. Lovely but in a very understated way.

Salt Lake bottle. Pours a cloudy orange-gold color with a long lasting khaki head and super thick lacing. Aroma is light fir/spruce hops with a hint of simple syrup. Lighter flavor of sweeter malt and fruity/citrus hops. Short finish with moderate bitterness. Nice.
