4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bronze pour with a 3-4 finger, fluffy, oily khaki head that has excellent retention and leaves very nice lacing. Aroma is loaded with pine, cat box and passion fruit, lots of citrus and tropical notes in there, but those are the three hop notes I really pick up on, the hops pretty much drown everything else out, a little toast and caramel and some sweet fruity notes, smells very juicy and delicious. Flavor is again, loaded with pine cat box and passion fruit, some sweet orange, berry, chewy caramel, nice toast and biscuit notes in the middle, and rolling in toward the finish come tons of fruity esters and (largely tropical) fruity and citrus hop notes. Medium body, chewy, juicy feel throughout with a light to moderate strength, blanketing carbonation. Very good, it reminds me of some of my better heavily dry hopped+keg hopped homebrews. Seriously good beer. One of the best, new to me IPAs in a while.

Really damn solid malt forward citra and mosaic ipa. Everybody at my bar loves this beer. The malt profile at the end is very pleasent and leaves you asking for another dose of super citrusy and sweet hops.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Clear, darkish golden, with a reasonably abundant head. Big lemony, citrus nose, some fresh pine, light floral notes. Moderately bitter, nicely balanced against a good bit of sweetness. Medium body, very clean palate, quite chewy. Long finish, dries out. Very good.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Amber color with a ample white head. Aroma is citrusy. The citra hops come through on that first sip with strong orange / grapefruit taste. Finish is clean and crisp. A very good IPA!

"this was the weekly cask conditioned special at the portland pub, and holy cow was it good! huge hop aroma...citrus and pine, but with a woodsy earthy undertone to it and enough malt to balance. The flavor stood up to the cask, and the cask made the body phenomenal and the head and lacing everlasting. great beer. deliciously fruity in the bottle."
