4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bronze pour with a 3-4 finger, fluffy, oily khaki head that has excellent retention and leaves very nice lacing. Aroma is loaded with pine, cat box and passion fruit, lots of citrus and tropical notes in there, but those are the three hop notes I really pick up on, the hops pretty much drown everything else out, a little toast and caramel and some sweet fruity notes, smells very juicy and delicious. Flavor is again, loaded with pine cat box and passion fruit, some sweet orange, berry, chewy caramel, nice toast and biscuit notes in the middle, and rolling in toward the finish come tons of fruity esters and (largely tropical) fruity and citrus hop notes. Medium body, chewy, juicy feel throughout with a light to moderate strength, blanketing carbonation. Very good, it reminds me of some of my better heavily dry hopped+keg hopped homebrews. Seriously good beer. One of the best, new to me IPAs in a while.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: MAY 2, 2016 From a 355ml bottle on 1/5/2016. Pours a clear dark copper with a biggish head. The aroma is all floral and fruity hops. Take a sip and there’s lots of caramel malt, some toffee, sweet orange, lemon, spice, finished of by big quite assertive hops. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Exhibits great malt/hop balance and oozes class. A really well made, delicious IPA.

Amber to copper in color with a light taupe colored head and nice lace. Grapefruit, light spearmint and toasted malt scents. Intriguing nose. Light sweet start, with a mild following of menthol, grass and dough. Good mix of malt and hops. Definitely a fresh squeezed quality in the hop profile. 4/14

Ar- strong hop aroma of pine and resin with hints of grapefruit and tart citrus
Ap- pots and clear deep Amber with a sting white head
Fl- bright sweet and fruity up front. Tangerines lemon and red grapefruit stand out. Very well balanced with hop bitterness toward the end. Finishes dry with medium high bitterness.
Mf- med-full bodied, nicely carbonated, mild alcohol
Ov- very well done. Great balance of nice malt sweetness, hop flavors, aromas and bitterness. If anything, I'd dial back the bitter aftertaste just a bit but I'm really nitpicking here.

Tried this at a craft beer bar in Perth Australia but believe it was still reasonably fresh. I was impressed at liked it a lot. The varieties of citrus that came through on various parts of my tongue and palate was amazing. An excellent IPA
