This mouthwateringly delicious IPA gets its flavor from a heavy helping of citra and mosaic hops. Don’t worry, no fruit was harmed in the making of this beer.

On tap at the Portland pub. Hazy, the color of old pine, yellow gone to orange with age. Citrus aroma. Taste is fresh squeezed citrus, like its name, with pine. Mildly bitter. Dry. Dry mildly bitter finish.

6%ABV. American IPA Nice thick head. Color of the pour was a deep amber, about 16ºSRM. Nose was full of ripe citrus and a faint pine. In other words, it had a nose like a proper American IPA. The carbonation was well balanced with a mouthfeel somewhere between soapy and syrupy. Almost reminded me of Buxton’s Axe Edge, which I caught myself glancing at in the glass fridge. Aroma was redolent with citrus, pineapple, a hint of a ripe Granny Smith and the estery pleasantness of the fingerling bananas that you find in the tropics. The hops in an IPA are usually all you care to write about, but I have to say that I was actually coming back for more to get a handle on the malts which were toasted just enough to "body up" for the want of a better term to the flamboyant hops. These malts lingered somewhere between bready and toasty. So very remarkably surprisingly good. Goes on my favorites list!

12 oz chilled pour from tap into a Spiegelau IPA glass at Growler Guys in Portland, Oregon. Golden, clear, great carbonation, perfect fluffy white head. Nose is strong citrus. Medium to full body and creamy. Crisp with a nice bite of carbonation. Very fruity taste. Tropical fruit (pineapple mainly and some mango) and citrus (tangerine). A fresh and drinkable IPA. Great example of the style.

Pours a hazy orange with a white head. Aromas of citrus and bread with some hoppiness. But nothing overwhelming. Nice ipa.

This poured a hazy lighter orange color, almost like orange juice with a white head. Aroma was of orangey and pineapple type hops, very juicy atoms. Flavor similar, body is perfect, this beer truely deserves to be called freshly squeezed.

Draft at Porkopolis in Chandler, AZ. Bold freshly cut oranges highlight the fragrant nose along with hints of lime and a touch of pine needles. The color is deep orange with traces of copper; a brief pure white head tops it off. Like the aroma, the taste is citrus-heavy with oranges and tangerine before a sharp resiny pine note adds some bitterness to the juicy flavors. Medium body. One heck of a delicious IPA that is often readily available.

Bottle. Pours a clear orange with a decent head and aromas of oranges and flowers. Flavor has a lot of citrus and floral notes with a honey sweetness and a bit of ABV burn to it. Very nice.

draft at Dean’s Hops & Vine Cheviot, OH APPEARANCE - darker copper color, perfectly cleared. NOSE - super citrus explosion. FLAVOR - same as nose. But the alure fades over the length of the pint. NOTES - good beer, but not as great as everyone’s love affair with Citra hop would let you believe.

bottle. Deep golden with one finger head. Maltier base than I was expecting, but obviously the focus is the big pungent citrus hops. Well done stuff.

Had high hopes but was let down. The first sip is shockingly bitter. Not as much citrus as the name led me to believe.
