Amber beer with a lightly malty aroma and a well hopped flavour. Overall a reasonable strongly hopped beer. Rogueone (506), I F&ckin’ hate those guys from, Ohio, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 28, 2008 Bottle, thanks Mark: Pours a dark amber here, with a very earthy quality. Sweet caramel malt, raisin, and toasted peanut in the nose. Flavor is a somewhat grassy hop, toasted malts, but the light bitterness here fades so gracefully off of the palate, this really stood out for me in this category. raphael (412), Portland, Oregon, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 25, 2008 Pours a mostly clear, DARK red, with a small head. Aroma is oddly a bit smokey, and malty sweet. Flavor starts with caramel, and has a slightly bitter finish with a touch of alcohol as it warms. The sum of the flavors are better than any of the parts alone. Palate starts with some fizz on the lips, medium bodied with a watery/slick finish. Overall a good, but not great beer. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 19, 2008 Hazy deep amber brown. Fruity hop aroma (grapefruit), a little resin too. Nicely balanced sweet malt with just enough fruity hop character to make this interesting and very drinkable. Finish is medium bitterness and quite long. hellbilly (1522), scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jul 5, 2008 Amber ales are like brown ales for me. Both don’t have enough malt, hop, body, or flavor. That said, this was a very nice ale. It has a crisp bubbliness. Slight apple taste, gentle hops, grasses and peat. Wouldn’t buy it again but would drink it. carboloader (319), Houston, Texas, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 3, 2008 Toured the brewery. At first I had no idea that this was an amber. I thought it was a pale ale and then realized the fruit and creaminess. Either way I like it a lot. Light, creamy, with green tea flavor. Bitter finish, nicely complex, yet easy to drink.
