Light lacing. Aroma is a nutty, toasted caramel malt. Flavor is much of the same. No lingering aftertaste. Medium body. One of the better Amber ales I’ve had. truegen (164), Puyallup, Washington, USA Mar 28, 2008 22oz. bomber. Reddish-brown color with just a bit of fog in it. Great tight-foam head leaves lace all the way down. Nose is loaded with grass and tea scent, and a faint cola tinge rides along. Flavor is bright and clean, with more grass, citrus and pine nuts. Not as sweet as most ambers, which is a plus in my book. Easily drinkable and sessionable. thooper41 (384), Oregon, USA Mar 28, 2008 12oz bottle: pours amber brown with minimal head, almost no aroma with hints of hops, flavor is pretty hoppy for an amber with a malty caramel backbone. pretty good beer for an amber but really not my style.
