vulcanmeister (102), La Grande, Oregon, USA Mar 29, 2009 12 oz bottle pours a pleasnt dark copper liquid with a small off-white robust head which quickly dissipates. The aroma is malt, fruit, and bread. The mouthfeel is light to medium. Flavor is of malt, toffee, biscuit with a slightly dry hop finish. Very drinkable. eyesolus (64), Mill Creek, Washington, USA Mar 21, 2009 Bottle; easy to drink with mild malt and not hoppy; a bit of a carbonated mouthfeel; nice organic safe beer. (#55) Plamadude30k (122), Tucson, Arizona, USA Mar 18, 2009 Very intense nose, lots of hops, some malts, a little citrus. Not too overdone, though, so it was pretty refreshing and enjoyable to drink. jbye4334 (652), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Mar 13, 2009 (Bottle). Pours a copper color. Small off white head which dimishes quickly. Minimal lacing. Light malty aroma. Tastes of malt and hops. Soft Carbonation. War4soccer (115), , Nevada, USA Mar 8, 2009 bottle.. nice ale..Glad they went with a nice Organic beer..a very easy drink..nice and refreshing stefanje (937), (Santee) San Diego, California, USA Feb 26, 2009 12 oz bottle from Henry’s. Pours a dark copper-amber color with a smallish off-white head that has fair retention. The Aroma is moderate in strength with sweet malts, apples and some bready yeast. The flavor is subtle with malts, apples, pears, biter walnuts and some biscuit. The mouthfeel was light and thin with a bit of grit toward the back end. The finish was short and dry with lingering piney hops. Overall: A very sessionable ale with some nice taste nuances, but nothing to write home about. elihapa (1034), Honolulu, California, USA Jan 19, 2009 On tap, Yardhouse. Tried this as a novelty, not expecting much. Pours dark red with a nice creamy head. Aroma is an herbal, estery bouquet. Flavor is delicately hoppy, with earthy notes and a bitter finish. Very sessionable and surprisingly tasty. ryanknock (150), San Francisco, California, USA Jan 14, 2009 Another organic beer that tops my lists this year. A nice, medium to light bodied fruity ale, with notes of toffee, caramel and biscuit throughout. The hop presence is light but clear, piney, and definitely more in the flavor than the aroma. Slightly dry and bitter finish.
