killjoy966 (215), Washington, USA Jan 4, 2009 On tap at 2008 Hop Scotch Festival in Seattle. I obviously didn’t prefer this one as I wrote, "tasted mealy/grainy." Maybe mine just had something floating in it. anders37 (4516), Malmö, Sweden Dec 24, 2008 Draft @ Bond Street Brewpub, Bend OR. Pours a clear amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty and hoppy aroma. Fruity malty hoppy flavor with some hints of caramel. Has a fruity malty hoppy finish. doubleo (1096), San Diego, California, USA Dec 10, 2008 On-tap at PP C Bad. Pours hazy amber with a good size white head, spider web lace. Smells of slight sweet and earthy malts with some earthy hops as well. Tastes caramelly, earthy, malty and sweet. Again, some light, earthy hops, slightly bitter. Medium body, good carbonation. badlizard (2325), Berkeley, California, USA Dec 10, 2008 Bottle. Clear brown with no head. Grain caramel and toffee aroma and taste. Decent. Snojerk321 (1917), San Diego, California, USA Dec 9, 2008 Updated: Dec 10, 2008This was a very solid brew overall. Bottle from bevmo mission valley. Pours a clear medium amber color with a small off white head. Nice lightly hopped nose with some malt and fruits hidden. Flavor held good balance between malt and hops, light-medium in body. Beardface (977), Eugene, Oregon, USA Dec 8, 2008 One of the better organic beers I have had, a nice amber pour with a big white, long lasting head. Pretty sweet and malty but there is a definite hop presence as well, and the thing is fairly well balanced. Good stuff. dwyerpg (2519), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Nov 28, 2008 Looks great. Not much aroma. This is nice- a pretty even balance of malts and hops in this. A dry finish. Good stuff. marcus (1826), Sacramento, California, USA Nov 3, 2008 This amber ale poured with a nice off-white head that lasted a while. There is a slightly sweet and fruity full caramel malt flavor with just enough hopping.to produce a tangible bitterness at the finish. Not the best best beer from this brewer, but worth a taste.
