22oz. bomber. Reddish-brown color with just a bit of fog in it. Great tight-foam head leaves lace all the way down. Nose is loaded with grass and tea scent, and a faint cola tinge rides along. Flavor is bright and clean, with more grass, citrus and pine nuts. Not as sweet as most ambers, which is a plus in my book. Easily drinkable and sessionable.

Oct 11, 2008 Bottle courtesy of scrizzz. Pours a pretty clear deep red with a small white head. Flavor of sweet malt and light fruits. Flavor is light with nice fruitiness. Also a light spiciness that is really tasty. Definitely the best organic beer I’ve had (it’s a short list, but still). Nice amber with a spicy kick.

Oct 11, 2008 Bottle. Aroma of fresh, crisp, leafy greens, coffee-ish notes, caramel malt (increasing with time), sour apple, maybe a touch of pine? Flavor malty with a spicy hop edge and a good deal of earth. Very nice beer, and the first organic brew (admittedly out of VERY few) that has impressed me.

Sep 19, 2008 Pours a hazy dark amber color from the bottle with an off-white head. Smells of appleseed and taste of red apples, caramel, and slight butter. Probably the best organic brew I’ve yet to taste.

Sep 2, 2008 I would never have purchased this beer, but found it in my 6 pack of Mothership Wit. I hate "organic" on a beer label. Classified as an amber but drinks like an IPA. Citrus "northwest" profile. Common for a micro.
