aroma of fresh barley- - red in color with a thin white head good lacing- caramel notes without being sweet- lingerling hops that dry out the palate- almost a slight spicyfinish- good beer that presents a different taste with each sip- nice presentation- would drink again

Bottle. Pours a dark murky amber with off-white head. Aroma of grassy, piney hops, malt, a little nutty, citrus. Flavor is very much the same with lots of grassy/piney hop flavor with nice bitterness and a little earthy. Mouth feel is light-medium body with high carbonation. Overall, a tasty, hoppy beer!

Bottle:   Dark copper, large foamy sand colored head, nice lacing.   Little bit of a grainy and barnish nose.   Make that quite a bit of graininess.   Has the usual organic like funk.   Certainly malty on the tongue, grainy, with a mealy presense.   Oh yeah, its that earthy graininess that seems to be associated with organic ales.   Has a soily component.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Husky finish.   Too earthy, soily, grainy, and husky for my tastes.   Might be better if it were a tad sweeter, as is its kinda dry.   Looked great, but almost seems too raw on the tongue.

Bottle as shown. Pours a clear orange copper with a medium frothy white head that leaves good sticky white leacing along the glass. The aroma is a floral hop wet bread and caramel. Thin mouthfeel with a sweet hop with light grain and caramel with a nice bitter finish. Easy to drink, a good amber ale from Deschutes.

An amber beer with a small head. The aroma was malty, subtle fruitiness, with a mild bitter finish. I guess I can feel good about Mother Earth after drinking this.

Clear orange amber color, thin white soapy head.  A pretty beer, really.  Aroma of stinky hops a la body odor.  Flavor of pronounced hops, yet mellow and smooth with a light sweetness.  More BO in the finish.  Light bitter pucker on aftertaste.  Not much malt presence, mostly hops, leaving you with a clean, fresh hopped experience.  They should make a bath soap out of this.
