4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Aroma- Peach, tropical fruits, mango, orange, grapefruit, bubble gum, pine and caramel. Dank comes out with a swirl.
Taste- Iíve been looking for one that tastes like this. Big Tropical fruit and peach up front, followed by grapefruit, orange, pine, oily resin, and rich caramel. Also a little dank and peppery, earthy character. Exceptionally balanced and flavorful. Piney grapefruit rind aftertaste.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Pours a very slightly hazy copper color with a moderate off-white head on it. Nose is definitely hop forward, with a some floral and citrus notes, and just a touch of resin. Taste is moderately bitter, but has just a hint of bready sweetness at the end. Really a nice drink, and Iíd never have guessed 10.6%.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Very hoppy and malty aroma; does not have as much pine and/or citrus scent as other DIPAís I have tried. Clean. almost grassy smell comes through on the second whiff. Pours a bright golden color with tons of white foam that leaves heavy lacing on the glass. Tastes light, has some citrus that didnít come out in the aroma, has the hop bitterness that I was looking for, but not overly bitter. I detected a little honey-like malt sweetness as well. Palate was slick and not overly carbonated. I have to dock the palate a point for not having that strong, long lasting aftertaste that I like in a DIPA. This was good, not great. Worth drinking, not very expensive, but surprisingly forgettable.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
22oz bottle in a teku. Pours transparent copper with an off-white head. Aroma of floral and citrusy hops, pale and caramel malts, and light dough. Flavor the same with hints of spiciness but too many malts for the hops to shine through. Average texture. Not the best of the style but not bad at all.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber from Jimís in Mundelein. Pours an orangey brown with an off-orange head leaving great lacing. Aroma has pine and citrus, with fruit and a solid caramel base. Taste is of sweet fruits, bitter lemon and grapefruit, a bit of spicy pine and a significant caramel backbone. Perhaps a bit of sweet honey. Medium bodied and sticky. Finishes quiet bitter with underlying sweetness. This is 90% of hopslam, with a really nice caramel presence that kept showing up. A fan years ago - still am it turns out
