Light light unclear medium orange color with a average, frothy , good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to light light heavy hoppy, orange, light to modrate yeasty, belium yesat notes, fruity. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090922]

Clear medium amber orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, light heavy hoppy, pine, orange peel. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090801]

Bottled. A hazy dark amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of grapefruity hops, hay, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, herbal, grapefruity hops, and some bread and caramel, leading to a very bitter finish. Nice. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a lazing light orangey head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of caramel and medium notes of over ripe fruits and hops. The flavor has strong notes of over ripe fruits as well as medium notes of caramel, hops, grass, and alcohol, leading to a very bitter finish. Thanks Papso for sharing.

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of MaltOMeal. Slightly hazy deep golden with an off-white, lacing head. Fruity, citrusy hop aroma. Medium body, sweet caramel and fruits. Strange phenollic and chemical. Sweet alcoholic finish rather than bitter. Not too impressed. 220909

22 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy dark orange with a small white head. Aroma is dry pinewood hoppy and mild peachy. Sweet, crisp fruity and light mellow yeasty flavoured. Sweet and fruity finish with a light bitterness into the far finish.

22 fl oz bottle. Pours cloudy orangre with a small off-white head. Aroma is light caramelish and mild fruity hops aroma. MIld citrusy, solid bitter and caramelish malt flavoured. Bitter and dry finish. Solid hoppy and fruity, smooth in hops profile.

Bottle at Papsø. Cloudy orange coloured with a medium sized off white head. Fruity arroma of caramel, pine needles, grass and hops. Fruity flavour of caramel, hops, pine needles and grass. Dry hoppy finish.

Beautiful copper-amber color; generous creamy head. The aroma is initially resiny and citrusy, but it evolves into a more fruity one, with sweet toffee and apricots. The body is leaner than the strength may suggest, increasing the drinkability; good caramel and toffee flavor, with a light residual sweetness; the hopping is more fruity than resiny, with yellow fruits jam, apricots, peach, mango; some resins appear in the end; the final is bitter and persistent of course, but without excess.
A delicious, fresh, powerful yet balanced, and harmonious beer.

Beautiful amber color. The aroma is a good mix of fruity and creamy hops. Sweet malt and toffee flavor, well balanced by the fruity hop, with oranges and light resins. Very good.

Hazy amber color, small head with a nice lace. Very nice hoopy aroma, with a Parmesan and sweaty touch. Smooth mouthfeel, malty flavor but not too strong, with powerful hopping, but as well it’s not too aromatic. Good and pleasant.

Hazy orange with a tiny white head. Hoppy aroma with pine, hops and grapefruits. Hoppy flavour with grapefruits and piney notes. Bitter finish.

Draught, St. Augustine’s. Earthy, citrusy hop aroma. Sticky hop and crystal, maybe a bit too sticky in the finish as well. A fairly plain IPA by today’s standards, it didn’t hold my interest at all.

(22oz bottle, courtesy of Mora2000) Pours a clear golden orange body with a medium white head. Aroma of orange, herbs, and pineapple. Flavors of pineapple, mango, orange, and caramel malt with a bitter finish.
