Apples, bushy hops aromas, some acetic flavors, how old is this? Definitely some odd English malts going on here. Some oxidation and tub aromas. Pencil eraser and grapefruit. It’s growing on me but this is a weird animal. sunevdj (1771), Copenhagen OE, Denmark

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 13, 2006 Bomber thanks to Droopy49. This was on my want list for awhile. Thanks Juan! Pours a beautiful dark copper, slight haze, and a nice thick frothy off white head. Spotty lacing. From the bottle, the aroma is very fruity with some herbal notes. In the glass, the caramel and toasty malt aromas blend in. Nice british malt backbone of caramel, nuts, and tea. That is counterbalanced by soft bitter herbal hops. Orange zest like kick comes out on the herbal hop finish. A mild pepper like spiciness lingers shortly at the back of the mouth. Overall, very solid and enjoyable. I really enjoy when west cost hop schedules blend with british malt characteristics. Ungstrup (15111), Frederiksberg, Denmark

The body is surprisingly thin. Emil (6074), Copenhagen, Denmark
