Flavour of fruits, hops and pine needles. MrRomero (1934), Nolanville, Texas, USA Sep 22, 2006 22oz bottle: poured reddish orange with a medium beige/offwhite head. Massive hop aroma with moderate caramel. Big hop flavor with a bit of citrus. Bitter finish and not much sweetness. Good. blankboy (3157), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Sep 21, 2006 Bottle shared with HogTownHarry, GregClow & tupalev -- my bottle courtesy of acertain. Pours a hazy reddish-orange with a large foamy off-white head. Nice aroma with lots of floral and earthy hops along with some sweet malt and some spices. Flavour of floral hops, tea, some malt, a touch of spices and a big, long bitter finish. Medium bodied. Definitely a beer for hopheads, and since I’m one, I really enjoyed it. tupalev (2605), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Sep 20, 2006 Bottle shared with GregClow, Hogtown Harry, and Blankboy, Blankboy’s bottle. Dark orange, decent medium white head. Really nice hop aroma - resin, oily, malty. Taste - yep, there’s the hops - yay! (We’d been drinking all Cantillon and Jolly Pumpkin that night - this was a nice break). Up front herbal hops, strong. Decent malt follows, good body. Not quite enough for my liking but still adequate. Nice citrus linger. A solid IPA. GregClow (2493), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Sep 13, 2006 Bottle shared with blankboy, tupalev & HogTownHarry - blankboy’s bottle. Slightly hazy amber with a minimal head. Aroma of sweet malt and tea-like hops. Flavour has a slight malt character to start, feels a bit thin, but cranks up with the hops kick in, leading to a lingering, resiny finish. Somewhat lopsided, but still nice. brstp (201), Princeton, New Jersey, USA Sep 11, 2006 Updated: Feb 21, 2007Bomber. Beautiful dark hazy gold, off-white head that left some serious lacing. Hop hop hoppy, mostly piney but a bit of citrus there as well. Tastes just like it smells, with an extremely balanced caramel malt semi-hiding. Light body, long-lasting bitter finish.
