Part of the Bond Street Series. This Fresh Hop Pale Ale is all about celebrating the hop harvest in the fall. Fresh picked hops have to be added to the brew immediately and in abundance. Roughly 270 pounds of Crystal hops from Doug Weathers' farm outside Salem, Oregon will be added to the 50 barrel batch in addition to some dry kilned whole flower hops. That adds up to approximately 5.5 pounds of hops per barrel brewed.

Diacetyle notes in this one, had it against several midwest wet hop beers and it failed.

mmm. 12 oz. bott.e Pours a nice reddish orange with a an offwhite head. Aroma of big floral and troupical fruit hops, some pine and mild camel sweetness. The beer just smells fucking amazing. Flavor is extremely flavorful bitter hops, nice rich pine and herbal notes. This is blowing me away. Nice, medium body, lively carbonation. Finishes with fresh hop goodness. Delicious.

12oz bottle. Pours a cloudy amber color with a solid head that leaves swathes of lace. Has some grapefruit hops with some tropical fruit in the aroma. Taste starts out with citrus and malt up front, with the grapefruit growing and overtaking by mid-palate; after the swallow, some of the other flavors emerge - passionfruit and guava; the finish is a bit bready with subtle grain flavors. Medium body with moderate carbonation

Pours a deep copper with an antique white head. Impressive head retention. Mown grass and citrus nose. Pleasant mouthfeel with an enjoyable, but peculiar mix of caramel malt and tangerine gummy worms. It finishes as smooth as it begins. This beer is an excellent example of a fresh hopped ale while managing to be pleasantly different.
