COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Part of the Bond Street Series. This Fresh Hop Pale Ale is all about celebrating the hop harvest in the fall. Fresh picked hops have to be added to the brew immediately and in abundance. Roughly 270 pounds of Crystal hops from Doug Weathers' farm outside Salem, Oregon will be added to the 50 barrel batch in addition to some dry kilned whole flower hops. That adds up to approximately 5.5 pounds of hops per barrel brewed.

Overall a great beer. I love the hop mythos of the field to kettle in 4 hours. It makes a good (true) story. Aroma is sweet with notes of pine and citrus. Front of the pallete is tangy with great hop character. After taste is slightly astringent with fruit characteristics.

Pours a deep copper with an antique white head. Impressive head retention. Mown grass and citrus nose. Pleasant mouthfeel with an enjoyable, but peculiar mix of caramel malt and tangerine gummy worms. It finishes as smooth as it begins. This beer is an excellent example of a fresh hopped ale while managing to be pleasantly different.

Floral and citrusy aroma. Floral and resin like hop flavor. Malty sweetness is present but minimal. Very refreshing ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: JAN 17, 2013 Copper color on the pour. The aroma is a very clean pine with some light citrus hints. Taste is actually a little lighter then I expected from the smell. Very mellow pine taste through out with that fresh hop bitterness at the end. Over all I would have to say a very above average drinkable beer. Good work.

Bottle at home. Pour is clear copper with a two-finger cream head and great lacing. Floral, grassy, somewhat spicy aroma, with notes of caramel, bread, grapefruit peel, and rye. Taste is bready, sweet caramel, light toffee, grassy, fruity, light citrus, biscuit, and wet hops with a light bitter finish. Medium body with high carbonation. Decent APA.

12 oz pours dark orange healthy 2 fingers of head. Smells sweet, hay, strawberries, and wheat/biscuity. Tastes clean fresh malty, wheaty, with a very clean fresh subtle hop flavor.

lear and copper colored with a small off white head. A pine and citrus aroma is not big. But the flavor brings out floral notes with citrus. Fresh tasting hops. Caramel is light. Mild bitterness. This is good.

Appearance was orangish gold with creamy lasting off white 1 finger head, spotty lacing. Aromas are sweet caramel, pale 2-row malts with slight citrus fruits and pine. Taste was sweet honey, pale malt base with hints of grapefruit, pine, lemon, no alcohol present. Palate was soft creamy CO2 with meduim body, then average length balanced hop and malt finish. One of the best Pales I’ve tasted...
