jennajlover (101), Portland, Oregon, USA Jan 20, 2006 Copper bronze, good lasting off white head disipated quickly. Enticing spicy raw hop resin and caramel nose with some alcohol apparent, Big sweet peppery mouthfull of caramel, malt and spicy hops. Some traces of toasted bread.. Alcoholic finish with the spicy malt notes well balanced by the solid hop bitterness. Absolutely loved the style of this brew
bitter (1137), Henderson, Nevada, USA Jul 18, 2005 bottled: poured amber/orange with a small thin head that was gone quite quickly. whimsical notes of herbs and fresh fruit with citrus and grass freshness. mouth was low in body feel, could of used a little more co2 imo. cascade hops dominate the palate with some slight grapefruit. qiute mild and good probably for an every day drinker, nothibg over the top ....easy to drink. BückDich (4481), Boise, Idaho, USA Mar 9, 2005 Sampled draught at Deschutes Public House, Bend Amber color, light head/lacing. Nose of fresh cascades, harvest time? The flavor is also a bit bitter but sweet to balance. Good foundation of an pie. Finishes musky Sham (1845), Seattle, Washington, USA Mar 8, 2005 Amber/mahogany with a creamy head and spots of lace. millerclmb (44), Boulder, Missouri, USA Jul 5, 2004 Not to overpowering hoppy aroma. Suprisingly subtle on the hops for an IPA.
Nice crisp finish...well balanced sweetness.
