Combining Munich malt, oats, and crystal malt with Nugget, Centennial, Brewer’s Gold, and Crystal hops creates quite an IPA. We took this beer to another level by adding a dark malt component to increase the complexity of this brew We’re betting that this beer will make you happy. 68 IBU.

Sample at the brewpub. Pours black with a brownish tinge around the edges. Medium beige head that dissipates steadily, with a top ring of lacing and spots underneath. Roasty aroma with hoppy and fruity notes. Medium, dry body with a roasted malt character and flavors of citrus, dark chocolate and floral hops. The finish is hoppy and lingering. Pretty good overall.

Portland trip. Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a dark black color with a medium sized tan head. The aroma was chocolate, fruity hops and a touch roasty. The flavor was very piney with some roasty malts and chocolate with a long fruity hop finish. Medium body. Tasty.
