nicolascage (105), Copenhagen (Virum), Denmark Oct 3, 2007 Draft. American ipa. Sharp bitterness, with a malty, well balanced bitterness. Very nice hop profile. sirpsycho (342), Murrysville, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 29, 2007 Bottle. Amber color, aroma of slight pine, hops, citrus. Flavor was a subdued version of the aroma, has a nice bite to it, but it doesn’t annoy. Not bad. RSRIZZO (1345), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Sep 23, 2007 Had this beer on 7/3/2006. Aroma has a nice maltiness to it with faint tones of hops on the back. Color is a deep golden with good carbonation and a nice tight head. Taste is soapy and bitter. Starting with a medium body it goes down with the bite of bitterness coming on. Finish comes on with a soap like taste that is followed by a sharp bitterness and ends with a taste that is like biting into the peel of an orange. All of this leaves you with a sharp bitter feel in the back of your mouth. It is way to bitter and unbalanced for me. buddahmind (39), Boise, Idaho, USA Sep 20, 2007 My current favorite brand of my favorite style. I like this beer...a little too much. I could go on and on about its balance and beauty and big fat smack of ecstacy but I’ll just say, "BUY IT!" If you can’t buy it. I’m truly sorry. OD40oz (600), Box Elder, South Dakota, USA Sep 19, 2007 A cloudy amber with an off-white colored head. I’m not a fan of IPA but this one isn’t bad for an IPA. Thats still not saying much. BBB63 (4199), La Porte, Indiana, USA Sep 12, 2007 Bottle from Matt and served in a standard pint glass: Clean deep amber hue with frothy head and good lace. The aroma has notes of leafy and resiny hops, wintergreen and pine, caramel and butterscotch, grapefruit and apricot esters. The taste is a a tad sweet but very balance in the end with resiny piney citric hops to the rescue. The mild spice and leafy finish is quite nice. Yep, I get some wintergreen on the palate too, strange but neato! The mouth feel is smooth for the genre, not aggressive or biting but dry and metallic upon the finish. Honestly this is probably better cold but I ended up liking it. BeerPrince (1701), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Sep 9, 2007 Hazy amber with off white head. Aroma of citrus hops with a touch of grass. Hoppy start and finish but the malt base down th emiddle is a little lacking. Good but not great. keith0718 (157), Olathe, Kansas, USA Sep 7, 2007 I had this one a long time ago during a party and didn’t take the time to rate it. Really, if it’s a good beer, I remember it and its defining characteristics.
