vyvvy (2023), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA Sep 2, 2007 Thanks to Terminus for picking this up for me. Pours amber / bronze with a creamy tan head. The aroma has caramel, butterscotch, cream diacetyl and light hops. Medium body with fairly soft carbonation. The taste starts with rich malt and caramel. The finish is all oxidation. The condition I had it in was probably not the best. I will gladly rerate when / if I get a fresh bottle. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 05/20/2006

eyesandsmiles (179), Mission Viejo, California, USA Aug 23, 2007 A fairly standard ipa in many ways. Another solid deschutes beer. Small head, hops are perhaps slightly underprounced. beerbuzzmontreal (2909), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Aug 22, 2007 Pours a hazy orangy amber color with a medium white head. The aroma has nice spicy and resinous hops, the malt presence annouces that it won’t let the hops steal the whole show in the mouth. As advertised there’s a good flavor of spicy, resinous hops, the hops are well balance by a stout malt backbone, it finishes bitter. This IPA doesn’t have anything special but it’s pleasant and easy to drink. Thanks Goldorak! VTHopHead (895), Barre, Vermont, USA Aug 18, 2007 Bottle - Poured a cloudy darkish amber in color with an almost non-existent white head and fairly low carbonation. Aroma is medium of citrus/grapefruit hops and has a sweet malty "cast" to it. Flavor is also medium of hops and quite bitter. Some malty sweetness also present. Finish is clean and the bitterness lasts for a while. A decent IPA, but far from the best that I have had. Well worth having again... NickVega (72), Eugene, Oregon, USA Aug 13, 2007 Standard. Clean, crisp, nothing special. Can be cheap though - which does have virtues. decaturstevo (1971), decatur, Tennessee, USA Aug 5, 2007 A hazed amber/orange pour with an off white head. An arona of mild citrus hops. A slight sweetness on th front followed by a very hard bitter that is pleasant. Good carbonation but a bit thin on the palate. A good drinker all over nothing bad but just a little short all round. brianjames1 (322), Northridge, California, USA Aug 3, 2007 Great IPA, good balance, could be a bit hoppier/bitter though. Excellent beer from Deschutes
