Oct 17, 2006 Pours hazy amber, thin off white head. Aroma is hoppy, citrus, sweet, light malt and a little alcohol. The taste has a little bit of everything, nice malt, sweet berry hops, citrus, pine and nice bitter finish. Nothing is overwhelming, bitterness does linger a little bit. This is a decent middle of the road IPA.

Wonderful rich amber color and smooth pour, but without enough head. rich citrusy notes and crisp finish.Ummmm

Oct 9, 2006 Hazy amber color,small off white head that had a decent hangtime then faded slowly to leave a slight lace behind.The aroma was hoppy with a nice citrus side and some notes of pine and light malt.The flavor was pretty good,light malty side some grapefruit a bit of caramel and a hint of pine notes to go along with all the hops.Very nice brew,not as good as the avery i just had but decent enough for another go around.

Oct 8, 2006 Draft at Falling Rock.Hazed copper. Nose is big hops, citrus fruits, light toffee, caramel, and slight pine notes. Taste is more citrus fruits, bigger toffee, chewy malts, earthy hops, light alcohol and some evergreen. Body is resinous but medium and sticky in spots. Finishes with more big hop bitterness citrus notes and chewy malts.

Flavour of hops, grape fruits and pine needles.

Oct 6, 2006 Bottle. Pours a dark amber with a medium head that leaves some decent lacing. Super hoppy aroma with notes of citrus and pine. Taste is dominated by bitter hops, a little caramel. White grapefruit flavors and finish give it a bit of harshness that I’m not particularly into, as I’m more apt to throw the things at people than eat them. I’d have liked a little more sweetness to balance it out, but decent overall.

Oct 5, 2006 (Bottle, Stockholm Beer Festival, 30 Sep) Dark amber colour with small head. Fruity nose with powerful hoppy aromas, notes of grapefruit, pine needles and resin. Fruity, seriously hoppy, taste with grapefruit, pine needles, resin and harsh earthy hop flavours in the finish. Starts sweet, turns drier towards the finish, medium body. Very hoppy and very nice.

Oct 5, 2006 12oz bottle shared courtesy of zrrbrrt. Poured a dark orange color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of oranges, citrus, floral and caramel. Tastes followed the same with a grapefruit finish. I liked the balance in this IPA.
