Enter, if you will, all the glorious aromatic complexity of the hop. This big, bold IPA’s intense multi-hop kick gets a subtle dose of restraint from select Crystal and Carastan malts. For discriminating hop heads.

UPDATED: OCT 23, 2013 12oz bottle to tulip. Nice aroma, not off the charts but highly respectful. Earthy with pineapple and apricot maybe even a touch of bubblegum. Inversion really does appear as a nearly red ale. A very robust tan head with sticky lacing. The palate is both bitter and buttery. There is a lasting resinous on the roof of the mouth and mid tongue. Carbonation is soft and the body is light to medium. The finish is dry but lingers with just a touch of brightness. A surprising IPA in many ways, not upper/upper echelon in my opinion but a good buy and damn tasty especially when on sale ($7.99 a six )and definitely fridge worthy. I will give it kudos for bringing the IBUs and you could pay more and get a lot less punch. Solid Stuff.

330ml bottle from Archive Beer Boutique. Rating from December 2013. There is a big hop wallop in the hose and a big piney resinous flavour. Long finish that is a touch dry. Overall very good.

Pretty good bitter IPA. Big lasting bitterness after a heavy pine resinous start. Nothing especially stood out hopwise for me. but nice and chewy.

355ml bottle. Pours a clear deep amber, with a moderate off-white head, which lasts fairly well and leaves decent lacing. Banana, resin and grapefruit hops and a little toffee malt make up the aroma. Pine and grapefruit hops up front give way to toffee malt in the mid-palate. A touch of banana leads into a pine hop finish. A decent IPA, but it doesn’t really stand out from the crowd.

Day 4 of my IPA Advent calendar. Straight down the middle safe but fine IPA. No distinct hop. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma of pine, citrus, malt caramel, hop dank. Pours copper with white head. Smooth up front with medium body. Lingering bitterness in the aftertaste. Not the typical IPA.

bitter, dry, with some character of biscuit and light malt. tastes like classic northwest hops. pretty straightforward, but not as good as mirror pond or black butte.
