COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Enter, if you will, all the glorious aromatic complexity of the hop. This big, bold IPA’s intense multi-hop kick gets a subtle dose of restraint from select Crystal and Carastan malts. For discriminating hop heads.

12oz brown bottle. Brassy orange pour. Excellent looking foam on top, clingy, dense, white coloured. Nose has orangey hops up front, minor notes of grapefruit, some caramel. Carmel malt at the start, toasted notes mid way, grapefruity hops. Bright hoppy finish, lots of grapefruit, good length. Medium body, good carbonation. Pretty nice west coast IPA.

Pours dark copper with decent lacing. Aroma is spicy and sweet. Flavour is a little overpowering with the bittering hops and lacking in flavoring hops. The bittering hops hammer the palate. Malt flavour is thick to counterbalance the bitterness but the flavouring hops are not given enough of a chance to shine in my opinion. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Best by 7/22/14 pours a dark amber color. Aroma is mild orange rind with a sweet bready malt smell. No dankness. No hops. Nothing tropical. Very generic. Very average to below average aroma. Taste is once again very generic. Sweet bready malt with a mildly bitter finish. Nothing fruity or hoppy here. Honestly tastes and looks more like an amber ale than an IPA. Pretty disappointed with this one. Very average to below average beer. I will not revisit.

Dark amber color. Good aroma (citrusy) and appearance. It’s too bitter for my taste.

Rating #1027 - March 17, 2014 - St. Pat’s beer with my boss at the Sugar Bowl. On tap. Have had a bunch of deschutes creatures, but haven’t hit this yet. Lots of tropical citryusy hops on the nose (peachy, mango, pink grapefruit) erupting from this foaming amber pour. Sharp hoppy overtones of citrusy, tropical sweetness, mild pine pronounced into a firm bitterness, a super balanced, crisp finish. Nice.

Piney nose with more malt than most IPAs and a bit of banana-bubblegum ester. Very pleasant bitterness balanced by a bit of sweetness. Finish is a pleasant bitterness. A well-flavored IPA without any overbittering.

[Tap] Pours a lighter shade of brown with little head. Caramel, pinecone and lemongrass in the nose. Northwest style hop flavors mix with caramel and sweet bready notes. A good amount of lingering piney notes in the finish. I liked this one! Tasting notes from 1/2014.

Draft pour. Dark amber color. A lot of pine and citrus hops on the aroma. Orange peel flavor with a long hop finish. Very flavorful. Very good.

A- Pours a deep copper hue with a nice, 1 finger off white head that sticks around for quite a while. S- Lightly toasted grains, slightly sweet going into a faint piney hop character. T- Biscuity, piney hops are big all the way through, sweet aftertaste that lingers and doesnt quite completement the bitterness. M- Medium bodied with medium carbonation. D- A fairly easy drinker. The lack of balance from beginning to end really cut into this beers score.

Uniquely citrusy, with lots of banana and orange zest in the malt, balanced out with hints of caramel malt and hops. Very sessionable and refreshing, bordering on tropical, and covering the abv well.
