COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Enter, if you will, all the glorious aromatic complexity of the hop. This big, bold IPA’s intense multi-hop kick gets a subtle dose of restraint from select Crystal and Carastan malts. For discriminating hop heads.

Orange golden pour. Nice head. Smell pines and hops. Tastes fresh hops with light sweet malt balance. Good IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Clear bronze colour with small head. Aroma is gentle sweet fruits, kiwi, melon, apple and sweet caramel malts. Taste is much more aggressive and bitter than aroma. Resin, pine, soap, grapefruit and hops. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Very long, resinous, bitter and dry finish. Turns out to be very different beer at the end than what aroma promises.

Oh Sweet Providence this is why I drink beer! Big, big hops, piney, floral, very bitter, but wait! That remarkable balance of malty, toasty, biscuity sweetness! Always there, never too much. My bi-polar beauty. Big, powerful, hoppy perfection. This is my go to, my dependable, my rock and my redeemer. Quite nearly my all time favorite. Never disappoints. Would I drink again? - oh hell yes. again and again. Would I buy/order again? with my last dollar.

Golden cloudy appearance with a light fruity aroma, tastes of tropical fruits hit with an acidic sensation which turned to bitter aftertaste, creamy texture, very good IPA.

Dark in color for an IPA. Medium head. Tastes of roasted malt. The bitterness is slightly different tasting.

Just as the commercial description states "over-the-top nose with hints of orange and grapefruit". The taste is very malty going down and then bitter on the finish. This is a great IPA. My only complaint is the pithy aftertaste; but you only taste that if you wait too long until the next sip.

Love this ipa. Bitter but not harsh, everytime i drink it i think of orange peel french toast for some reason, which is not something you would normally associate with an ipa. Definately on the sweet side, but its a complex sweetness. If you like malty sweet ipas its worth seeking out, if you dont you should try it anyway, you might be surprised.

Light orange color with nice white head. Aromas of hops, caramel malts and slight pine. On the palate the beer has notes of grapefruits, slight pine, and faint malt. Pretty smooth IPA.

Draught at Newport Piza in OB. Yeah, there’s citrus in the nose, more orange than anything else. Not a lot of hops up front though, both in the nose and on the tongue. A nice balance I suppose, as some crystal malt characteristics come through at the start and finish. lacks the punch of most SoCal IPAs, but seeing as this is from Oregon, that’s understandable. A very drinkable and entirely enjoyable beer, but not the first or even the, oh, tenth choice for this hop head. Very nice all the same, just falls short in the hops department. Of particular note: the fluffy tan head diminished rapidly, as it seems with all IPAs, but the lacing on the glass was very nice, and the empty pint looked nothing short of a testament to lacing in general.

Poured amber with a nice head and great lacing. Caramel, grapefruit and citrus. Nicely balanced, a bit of nuttiness. Mouthfeel is sort of creamy. I liked this one, it was easy drinking and not over the top.
