Enter, if you will, all the glorious aromatic complexity of the hop. This big, bold IPAís intense multi-hop kick gets a subtle dose of restraint from select Crystal and Carastan malts. For discriminating hop heads.

Oh Sweet Providence this is why I drink beer! Big, big hops, piney, floral, very bitter, but wait! That remarkable balance of malty, toasty, biscuity sweetness! Always there, never too much. My bi-polar beauty. Big, powerful, hoppy perfection. This is my go to, my dependable, my rock and my redeemer. Quite nearly my all time favorite. Never disappoints. Would I drink again? - oh hell yes. again and again. Would I buy/order again? with my last dollar.

Love this ipa. Bitter but not harsh, everytime i drink it i think of orange peel french toast for some reason, which is not something you would normally associate with an ipa. Definately on the sweet side, but its a complex sweetness. If you like malty sweet ipas its worth seeking out, if you dont you should try it anyway, you might be surprised.

Draught at Newport Piza in OB. Yeah, thereís citrus in the nose, more orange than anything else. Not a lot of hops up front though, both in the nose and on the tongue. A nice balance I suppose, as some crystal malt characteristics come through at the start and finish. lacks the punch of most SoCal IPAs, but seeing as this is from Oregon, thatís understandable. A very drinkable and entirely enjoyable beer, but not the first or even the, oh, tenth choice for this hop head. Very nice all the same, just falls short in the hops department. Of particular note: the fluffy tan head diminished rapidly, as it seems with all IPAs, but the lacing on the glass was very nice, and the empty pint looked nothing short of a testament to lacing in general.

Light orange color with nice white head. Aromas of hops, caramel malts and slight pine. On the palate the beer has notes of grapefruits, slight pine, and faint malt. Pretty smooth IPA.

Poured amber with a nice head and great lacing. Caramel, grapefruit and citrus. Nicely balanced, a bit of nuttiness. Mouthfeel is sort of creamy. I liked this one, it was easy drinking and not over the top.

Pours a redish amber. Nose is full of exotic citrus and floral notes as it should be. Taste is somewhat more malty than your usual IPA...but I really like it. The decisive bitterness definitely keeps the sweet caramel at bay.

Very pleasant aroma for this beer. It is darker in color but has a smooth taste and slightly bitter finish ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Solid IPA. Beautiful mahogany color. Pleasant flowery caramel aroma, Blend of dark, rich caramel, malt and hops. Some grapefruit, orange peel. 6.8 alcohol but no taste of alcohol, taste evaporates nicely. Iím not a huge IPA or overly grapefruit and acidic fruit to overkill the hops, sometimes they can get too tart. This one is just right, a top 5 IPA.

Iím a big Deschutes fan, and was glad to see an IPA on the shelf at the local grocery store. This beer poured with a orangish-tan head and deep copper color with some haze and dry hop floaties. Moderate hop aroma with agressive carmel flavors and some lingering bitterness. A full bodied beer. A decent IPA which I drank at a bit high temperature (~60F). Will try this one at ~45F next time.
