Enter, if you will, all the glorious aromatic complexity of the hop. This big, bold IPA’s intense multi-hop kick gets a subtle dose of restraint from select Crystal and Carastan malts. For discriminating hop heads.

UPDATED: JAN 22, 2015 Nice deep orange colour with little head. Surprising aroma with the classical hoppy/flowery/fruity nose but also some honey and chestnut. Very nice taste and a beautiful bitterness on the finish. Great IPA!

Pours copper with a full, sticky head and lacing. Aroma is citrus, pine, lemon, and honey. Taste is somewhat malty for an IPA; with citrus and honey also present, along with a decent, lingering bitterness. Not my favorite Deschutes offering; but certainly not a bad beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This is a well above average IPA. I love good IPA and for me this is one of them. It is very hoppy and has a good bitter end to it.

A 12 fl oz bottle with a best by date of 11th November 2015 and poured into a Spiegelau IPA glass. It poured a clear copper amber colour. There was a huge three finger light tan head that had good retention and left plenty of stringy lacing. Strong piney and grassy aromas with hints of citrus lemon zest. There is also some light caramel malts and apple juice there. Taste is bready and caramel malts upfront followed by plenty of pine and hop bitterness. Also hints of apple juice and grapefruit in between and a long lasting bitter finish. Medium bodied with light carbonation. This was a good IPA if not stunning although I prefer more carbonation. But Fresh Squeezed is still my go to IPA from Deschutes.

Bottle. Pours a coppery amber color with a fairly thin tan head. The aroma is wonderful, with pine predominating, but hops and citrus are also present. The flavor is hoppy with serious citrus overtones and a nice balance of malt. It has a nice "bright" flavor that is crisp and defined. Man oh man, this is good stuff, but you’ll really want to appreciate a hoppy brew to really enjoy it best. I’d like to pair this brew with pulled pork (with deep smoke flavor, of course), grilled corn on the cob and mustard potato salad.

Lots of caramel, and some pine and grapefruit aromas. Poured an amber color with a copper hue and a sticky off white head. A lot of caramel with sweet English Tea and has some grapfruit and alcohol taste throughout. Medium bodied, resinous, with lively soft carbonation. Decent for a session starter or an inline session beer, for me.

Poured from 12oz bottle into tulip glass. Best by date of 06/05/12 Aroma: citrus hops, peaches and oranges. bit of floral. Appearance: deep copper color. hazy. two finger off-white head that faded slowly. laces glass nicely. Taste: very balanced on the sweetness and bitter. not too much on the sweet and the bitter is fairly tame. Palate: light body and slick texture. lively carbonation. bitter finish but pleasant Overall: great tasting beer. very refreshing. surprised at the 6.8% alcohol. lots of flavor. would have liked a stronger smell of citrus and floral. Prefer this over the Firestone Walker Union Jack I recently had. Will pick this up again.

Pours a hazy orange color with a thick white head that sticks around. Aroma is tropical fruit, a little breadiness. Taste is piney, slightly peppery, some fruit in the background and finishes with a nice fading bitterness. Medium mouth feel. This beer is prettt great; a little different than the average IPA but definitely in a good way.
