4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
This is a great IPA. It could topple Titan as a favorite. The only thing throwing me off is the creepy, cryptic message on the bottle: "Inversion is as close as you can get without knowing somebody." I’m an English major who has no idea what that means, so I’m going to leave a creepy, cryptic review in return: "To fail to grasp the complexities of this beer is to fail to grasp the complexities within yourself."

Great bitter citrus aroma and taste. Rich amber appearance, minimal head. Mouthfeel is crisp, but maybe a little syrupy. Overall, great beer.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein orangebraunes Bier mit schöner cremigen leicht beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch kräftig malzig, hopfig, reife Früchte. Geschmack sehr malzig fruchtig, hopfig, bitter, reife Früchte.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Inversion is rich deep amber colored beer with a small head of white bubbles. Nose is definitely evergreen hops with a hint of sweetness. Taste is tangy at first but finishes with a bit of sweetness and bitterness on the finish. a really nice IPA.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Dark amber colour with a off white almost pale yellow head. Lace stays for days. Unique aroma, mostly bannana, nice though. The bannana follows through into the taste, with hints of malt and toffee in addition. Not as dense in the mouth as I like, but good carbonation and reserved dryness are the saviour here.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
330ml bottle from Archive Beer Boutique. Rating from December 2013. There is a big hop wallop in the hose and a big piney resinous flavour. Long finish that is a touch dry. Overall very good.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pretty good bitter IPA. Big lasting bitterness after a heavy pine resinous start. Nothing especially stood out hopwise for me. but nice and chewy.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
355ml bottle. Pours a clear deep amber, with a moderate off-white head, which lasts fairly well and leaves decent lacing. Banana, resin and grapefruit hops and a little toffee malt make up the aroma. Pine and grapefruit hops up front give way to toffee malt in the mid-palate. A touch of banana leads into a pine hop finish. A decent IPA, but it doesn’t really stand out from the crowd.

Day 4 of my IPA Advent calendar.
Straight down the middle safe but fine IPA. No distinct hop.
