2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Kind of a downer for ipa... Tastes more traditional perhaps with malt forward feel... Not smooth or refreshing or full of pleasure able flavors

4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a reddish amber with tight white head, which didn’t linger. Light hoppy aroma, with floral hints. Definite IPA flavour, with very light hop aftertaste. Much milder tasting than many IPAs - a superbly rounded beer. Could drink plenty of this!

From a bottle. Pours reddish golden with a huge head. Nice aromas of malt and floral hops. Upfront flavors of sweet grapefruit, butterscotch, raisin. Nice finish with orange peel, toast and pine. Hoppy finish but it’s not a hop hammer. Light and lively on the palate. This is a very nicely balanced IPA. Not heavy or overhanded. Delicious.

Bottle to glass. Clear amber pour. Floral / fruity hop aroma. Taste is citrus hops and caramel malts. Good bitterness. Light carb. Not bad.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
A- Floral, hoppy, citrus, piney.
A- Dark copper color, hazy liquid, tan head.
T- Medium-Strong bitterness, subtle citrus, spruce.
P- Full body, sharp texture, average carbonation, lingering bitter finish.
O- Not as bitter and hardcore as I was expecting it to be. The citrus seems to fade as the beer warms and the floral tones come out stronger. This is a solid example of an IPA but still not one I find myself drooling over.

Good IPA. Great tasting hops and good crisp finish. Smell is sweet of hops and maybe a little fruit in there somewhere.

Not much of an aroma. Color looks like Yeungling. Lame. Tastes like sweet bananas. Would only drink this if it were free. But then, of course, I would drink a lot of it.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz. bottle from trade. Been wanting to try this one for a while now. Pours a beautiful clear amber red with a one finger off white and very creamy head. Looks like an amber. Aroma of pine, grapefruit, floral bouquets, some other orange citrus rind too. Flavor had a nice caramel and bready malt presence, a nice bit of bitter pine, some citrus character. Insanely drinkable and very nice, leaning more toward the APA style than IPA. Light to medium bodied, slightly resinous, with medium plus carbonation. A really nice every day type of beer that I would love to have available locally.
