3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cloudy bronze colour. Moderately hoppy aroma, though the hops arenít very lively, their aroma seems muted, flat and wet if that makes sense. Like the aroma, hop flavours are not well defined they tend to wallow in sweet malt and slowly peter out into a spicy hop finish. I suspect the bottle I tried was not the freshest, but it didnít really show signs of past glory. Unlike most other Deschutes beers, this one did not really impress me.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
The aroma was a faint floral hop with some malt sweetness. Nice copper color with a small white head. Good weight on the palate with average carbonation and a coating finish. Medium hops bitterness of floral and some citrus but the malt backbone was strong with caramel flavors and some grain.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tap, Craft Beer, Calgary. Malty resinous aroma, faint passion fruit. Smooth, deceptive for strength. More stone fruit come through. Finish is sweet with apricot resin. Nice.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a murky tea hue into the glass, with a thick soapy head that leaves generous suds lace. The nose is floral and grassy with a hint of sweetness. Flavors of biscuit, toast, tart fruit, light caramel, tea tannins and lingering bold bitters to pepper the finish. Bold and spiced, this bitter IPA is a very nice offering.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottled. Quote brown in body for an IPA. Fizzy head, a mildly hoppy nose. But a big, fresh hop taste, with plenty of resin and pine. Thereís a lot of malt in this bottle, but the hops have taken it over, which is no small feat.

Hoppy aroma. Smooth, slightly bitter, slightly floral hops comes on strong with a bit of citrus zest, light malt, and a little earthiness. A fantastic IPA.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle at craft ale house. Pours clear amber with a medium sized white head. The aroma has pine, orange, light cores grapefruit. The taste is light bitter with a slightly sweet citrus balance. Not a very defined fruitiness.
