3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours amber in colour, with an off-white head and slightly cloudy appearance. Aroma is of caramel malts, and strong citrus hop scents, a little pine. Taste is slightly sweet throughout with a reasonable bitter kick in the finish. Medium body, smooth palate, nice carbonation. A solid IPA.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
At just on cool and into a snifter. Radiant, translucent orange copper, a little too translucent, with a fine bead and steady, loose off-white crest. Poignantly camphorous, like a hit of Morteinô to the head, is the nose with just enough biscuity malt, leafy herbs, roasted nuts, pine and nettles and just a sneaky touch of stonefruit. Bold and yet quite subtle on the palate. Creamy with very soft carbonation. Firm, malty, nutty and woody backdrop before a fruity, cherry rich, camphorous swallow. Long lasting bitterness; plenty of raw hops with floral, musky notes and bitter citrus fruit. Ok, but not ground breaking stuff. Weighted, but sessionable! (12fl.Oz, The Liquor Shed, Jandakot)

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, shared by me... in my dining room... just now.
Pours basically an amber color with a big head and decent lacing on the glass.
The aroma is hop forward, plenty leafy with some light pine, itís also got a good bit of toasty malt. It seems like the hop character sort of tapered off a bit after a minute or two of sitting in the glass.
The flavor is, oh... fine I suppose. Itís defiantly not "my type" of IPA, but itís not bad beer. Itís defiantly balanced with a light malt sweetness, some big bitterness, and a nice citrus and grassy hop character.
It is a timepiece for IPAs of a particular generation and I think itís one of the better ones of itís kind. But like I said, itís really not my thing.

4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Excellent IPA. I couldnít figure out for a while what the aroma is. Cherries...like maraschino cherries. Super sweet smelling. Taste is smooth and velvety. Very hoppy, very bitter. Super delicious beer. Deschutes is a killer brewery and this is just another awesome beer from them. Definitely try it.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Poured from bottle into a tulip glass, good looking beer. Pours a dark, red-ish brown color with a good sized creamy white head with good lacing. Definitely a unique tasting IPA. Has a much sweeter taste, hints of caramel and cherry. Not nearly as bitter as most IPAs, and has a bit of an earthy aftertaste. Not exactly what I was expecting, but this is a unique and drinkable IPA that I really enjoyed.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a dark reddish brown color with a nice white head and sticky lacing. Aroma is copper, caramel malts, and earthy hops. The taste is sweet and bitter at the same time with earthy hops, caramel sweet hops, and a light after taste of copper but in a good way? Very good IPA.

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Pours a slightly hazy bronze. Sweet with a little bit of caramel and cherry on the nose. Flavor a nice bitter bite on the start with huge floral notes and a malty finish. Really nice ipa.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Amber color. Hoppy and floral aroma. Medium-heavy bodied mouthfeel. Good amount of fruity taste. Medium bitterness. Fades quickly into a malty, bread taste.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured from a 12oz bottle dated best by 1/20/14 - about 7 1/2 months past the drink by date.
Aroma - Orangy smelling - not a lot of tropical fruits.
Appearance - Hazy orange with a half finger of head that quickly dissipates.
Taste - Considering the age, not too bad. Slightly caramel flavor, Could probably have a couple, but might get sick of it after a while.
Palate - nice bite at the of the tongue, but it does have that orangy taste to it.
Overall - not my favorite IPA, I am sure it could be better if it wasnít paste the best by date.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
pours dark amber with a thin head which provides good lacing for the entire event. Aromas of grass, and ítoffee appleí present.
Itís quite lightly carbonated (detrimentally so IMO) tastes spicy and earthy with subdued sweetness and pleasant long bitterness.
