COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION Weiss in German means “white” and is pronounced “vice”. This traditional South German Hefeweizen was brewed with 50% wheat, Pilsner, and Munich malts. The aromas of bananas and cloves dominate this very drinkable wheat ale.
On tap at Bond Street Brewpub in Bend, OR--Hazy, soapy straw white body with a filmy white thin head. Mildly spicy clove-banana-plantain nose. Bavarian. Sweet, spicy, gritty, banana, plantain flavor. Residual sweet and creamy palate. Quite good for a hot high desert day!
