Jan 5, 2008 Rather spicy with a malty sweetness that is quite present yet restrained. Plenty of hops on the finish to balance it out. Not too bad.

Jan 4, 2008 Bottle from South Bay Drugs & Liquor. A very nice spiciness this beer has, a whole range of christmasy flavors. Smooth and mellow, with a warming finish. Malts are good, though body is perhaps a touch thin. Quite nice.

Jan 4, 2008 Poured a clear deep amber color with a beige head. Light notes of chocolate and a hint of coffee. Mildly sweet. The flavor was of roasted malt with a light spice on the finish.

Dec 29, 2007 2007. 12oz bottle. Pours brwon with red highlights. Thin, somewhat sticky, light brown head that laces the glass. Smells of sweet fruity malts and brown sugar with some hops in the background. Tastes sweet throughout with a quick biting bittereness on the finish. Caramelly and fruity(red) malts and hops. Has some body to the mouthfeel, nice full carbonation. Refreshing flavor for a winter brew. Not a whole bunch of spiciness or anything.
