COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Jubelale is classified as a "Strong Ale" or an "English Olde Ale," and has ties to the traditional Celebration Ales of England. Characterized by a very large malt body and pronounced bitterness, Jubelale contains five different varieties of hops and a healthy amount of caramel. The perfect ale for surviving the long, cold nights of winter. Our tradition is having a different local artist design our Jubelale label & packaging each year. October - December - draft and bottles

This was given to me by a friend, greatly appreciate the gift! Aroma is huge on the malt side. Taste very malty, almost too malty, liitle bit of smoke. Appearance dark amber not much head. Tastes more alcoholic than it actually is, the alcohol I’d say was the defining characteristic in the taste. I got more drunk off of other beers consumed, but I felt like I was getting the most drunk while drinking this, if that makes sense.

From bottle courtesy of Naka. Nice rich malty aroma with raisins and biscuit, neutral fruit, toffee, and mild hops. Some licorice and alcohol sweetness. Cloudy dark amber-brown with creamy lacing off-white to light tan head. Medium-heavy body, not quite chewy but kinda silky or creamy, with medium carbonation and a bit of warming to it. Starts medium sweet with some nutty dryness, caramel and licorice, biscuit and carbonic acidity bite. Fairly sweet throughout, but really muted with nice hoppy bitterness. Finish is bitter, almost chalky, with nice nutty roasted after.

Bottle courtesy of Naka. Pours a brown with ruby hues and an off white, 1/2 finger head. Nose is minimal, but big on sweet caramel and brown sugar. Flavor is full of caramel and brown sugar, some fruity notes, raisin and dates with a good dose of bitter that lingers into a rather dry finish. Solid.

Bottle shared by Dogbrick. Pours clear red/copper with a medium tan head. Malty aroma with caramel, spice and some hop. Grainy malt flavor with caramel, spicy hops and a semi-sweet finish.

Strong aroma of grainy brown sugar with a nutty character. A slight spice as well, but not really distinct. The appearance is a dark reddish amber that has a nice billowy light beige head. Lasts and leaves some nice lacing. There is a slight metallic flavor to it. A nice roasted malt backbone. Caramel flavor balances the resiny hop very nicely. Actually, there is a good bit of hop flavor in this that leaves a nice bitter on the palate. It was kind of hidden in the aroma. A tight and smooth carbonation gives it a very rich body.
