Commercial Description:
Jubelale is classified as a "Strong Ale" or an "English Olde Ale," and has ties to the traditional Celebration Ales of England. Characterized by a very large malt body and pronounced bitterness, Jubelale contains five different varieties of hops and a healthy amount of caramel. The perfect ale for surviving the long, cold nights of winter. Our tradition is having a different local artist design our Jubelale label & packaging each year. October - December - draft and bottles

Bottle. Wow what a beer! Sweet spicy and hoppy aroma with a reddish brown appearance - This is what expect from my winter beer. The smooth and sweet malt component has a slightly bitter finish; both elements are in great balance here. I just wish the alcohol was a bit stronger.

2007 - Rich, dark red in color. Lightly hopped, but not overpowering, with a nutty first impression finished with a hoppy after-taste. Great head for a bottled beer. Strong for the style, and a personal seasonal favorite.

2007 - Version - Fabulous label pours an oh! so stunning amber with a lovely dense longlasting head Nose of toast, yeast some caramel and some hop notes Flavor: Toast, light caramel some nuttiness followed by a good hop bite. Finish is long spicy and hop forward... Overall - Definitely something to taste as the beer ages... Yup.. I have put away a few bottles every year... I am always happier in a little while when the hops subside and the malt stands out more Either way you cant go wrong .. worth seeking out For me this is a sign a long lineup of winter beers await :)

Bottle, 2007. A caramel aroma with a light hoppy taste. A winter warmer ale. It is strong, with a full body.

------2007-Bottle... Poured a dark amber with a mild beige head. Malt on the nose. Foamy, chewy palate. Had flavors of caramelized nut, chocolate, and a great malt/hop balance. Very satisfying brew. ------2006-Very Dark Amber, nice tan head. Hints of chocalate and almost like a coffee or toffee flavor with initial flavor. Pretty smooth palate. Aftertaste is well in hops. A good seasonal kick.
