Commercial Description:
Jubelale is classified as a "Strong Ale" or an "English Olde Ale," and has ties to the traditional Celebration Ales of England. Characterized by a very large malt body and pronounced bitterness, Jubelale contains five different varieties of hops and a healthy amount of caramel. The perfect ale for surviving the long, cold nights of winter. Our tradition is having a different local artist design our Jubelale label & packaging each year. October - December - draft and bottles

Tap at the Toronado. Another sampling in my quest to try holiday beers. This one is brown, with a modest head. Smells of hops and malts. It is not overly sweet, malty and a hint of vanilla perhaps. Nice beer, but actually not too different from say a Lost Coast Winterbraun.

Sweet in aroma and in flavor. The nose is malty - breads, caramel and wood. Taste filled with sweet fruits and spice, toffee and candy and then some roast and a bitter finish. Medium body and rich tasting. Nice seasonal ale.

12oz. bottle. Dirty brown-red, small lightm tan head that fades quickly. Tannic wood aroma, with some caramel. Vanilla, caramel, and some chocolate flavors. Chocolate and burned caramel finish. Mouthfeel is medium light and smooth.
