Commercial Description:
Jubelale is classified as a "Strong Ale" or an "English Olde Ale," and has ties to the traditional Celebration Ales of England. Characterized by a very large malt body and pronounced bitterness, Jubelale contains five different varieties of hops and a healthy amount of caramel. The perfect ale for surviving the long, cold nights of winter. Our tradition is having a different local artist design our Jubelale label & packaging each year. October - December - draft and bottles

Pours a darker brown color with a nice off-white head. Sweet malty hop aroma. Taste carries the malty hop balance through very well and ends slightly bitter. Nice caramel taste, with some nice spice, and has a nice smooth mouthfeel. Kinda overwhelming bitterness towards the end in my opinion.

EXACTLY like Full Sail's Wassail Ale, but more expensive. Coca-cola colored, no head, medium fizz. Smells a bit like grapes and chocolate. A great balance of hops and malt. Bitter aftertaste lasts just the right amount of time. I'd gladly drink this beer all year long. It's all about the balance!

slightly cloudy mahogany color, nice thick white head, candy, yeast, malty, earthy, nicely hopped – pine, hints of grapefruit, toasty – caramel; flavor is good, well-hopped, pine and grapefruit, malty, a bit sweet, some fruit, decent texture, a good beer but nothing extraordinary

Bottle. (Thanks Mike!) Dark brown in color with a frothy tan head that strangled the glass with bands of Brussels Lace. Nose is nutty, malty, with citrus, clove, cinnamon hints. mouthfeel is nice and full. Hard-edged hop character with grassy, piney acids. Malt solid in background, caramel, cinnamon, nutmeg and clove. Finish is moderate dry.

THis is a very spicey brew, the seasonal that comes out. Another dang good one from deschutes. Very creamy with lots of flavor. One of deschutes better offerings

Deep red-brown. Nose candy, Christmas toffee, smoky, deep plummy. Very malty, sweet, molasses and raisins, bit sugary. Good.

Mild spice, caramel, fruit and sweetness make this a nice treat. Very mild with a smooth finish.
