Pours a dark copper with a foamy two finger tan head that lingers. Aroma is of caramel, ripe fruits, raisins, some earthy hops, toffee, and some cinnamon. Taste is of caramel malts, toasted bread, dark fruits, raisins, some earthy pine and citrus, toffee/bread pudding, and some spices including cinnamon and maybe some nutmeg. Has a medium-full body with a creamy, buttery mouthfeel and a semi dry, semi bitter finish. overall, a very tasty and complex winter seasonal.

Pours clear chestnut, mahogany, brief light tan frothy head. Flavor is earthy, tannic, dried fruit, chicory. Palate is medium bodied. Overall, there is a subtle sweetness, bug the tannic chicory holds center stage until the finish. Excellent medium weight winter brew.

Tap. A: Mahogany color with a thin creme head. Lacing. N: Dry leaves, bark, chicory, squash, some cinnamon, cracker, more grass and straw. T: Bitter and sweet leaning heavily towards the latter. M: Medium - light body with crisp carbonation and no alcohol. O: A classic and for good reason. Goes great with just about anything you throw at it.

Dark brown color with thin off-white head and light lacing. Aroma has slight fruits, raisins, plums. Flavor is rich, roasty with some sweetness, nutty, woody, with spices. Very tingly and carbonated. Itís like a spicy brown ale.

Poured from bottle. Dark brown with an off white thin head. Medium body with nice lacing that clings to the glass. Nice aroma of dark fruit with a hint of tart sourness. Tastes smooth with some carbonation. Finishes very dry with not much flavor. Leaves behind a dry feeling on the tongue with mostly cinnamon spice and chicory woody flavor. A little too dry to be very enjoyable. Flavor isnít very complex. Overall somewhat disappointing.

A new favorite winter holiday beer. Malty, dark, and well hopped. Hops are kind of herbal but the real standout here is the malt and fruit flavors. Slick and medium body
