Bottle: Not a big fan of Winter Ales, this one has lots of fruit, malt, caramel and raisins. Full and complex finish with a strong alcohol kick. Food Pairing: Glass of Water, this has all you need!

Ebonied ruby lilí sauce up in here. Everyone seems to go bonkers for this. I donít get it. I mean itís solid, but not "flip your wig" crazy good. If looks could be taste itíd have a higher score. Whiff of molasses, maple, caramel and light spices. Taste is similar but a bit more nutty and slightly bitter but still sweet. Awesome cover art every year though.

Jado (489) - Camp Hill, AUSTRALIA - MAY 13, 2014
From 355 ml bottle. Pours a mahogany brown with lighter honey highlights at the edge and a small cream coloured head. Aromas of dried fruit, toast, orange peel, dark caramel, black coffee and a whiff of booze. Taste is baked apple, raisins and dark bread at the front rising to a firm citrus zest bitterness. That falls off at the end to a spicy, fruity finish. More spice in the aftertaste. Nicely balanced and delicious.
