On tap at the PDX Green Dragon. Pours dark amber with a tall white head. Balanced nose of caramel malts and citrus hops. This was a nice well balanced beer, not over the top hops, allowing the malts to make their presence known. Crisp finish and good body to this one. Not as hoppy as I remember Cinder Cone to be.

1/1/08 with Bikesanbeer, and Deschutes was open even though we thought we it wouldn’t be open till the next day, 6th brewery of the trip. Pours orange with a bright white ring. Taste of nice light malts. Sweet malty taste, not bad not great.

Amber body. Aroma is caramel with citric hops. Medium to light body, not a ton of character.

On tap at Green Dragon and Moon and Sixpence in Portland, OR--Poured a thick amber-copper body with a thick dissipating white head. Nose is quite creamy and caramelly. A bit to English buttery for my liking. Crisp and clean mouth feel, but flavor wasn’t my thing so much.
