On the X tap at Brewpub Pours out black topped with a tan head. Looks Great smells like mint. Ok we are doing ok. But then the tast WOW holy mint field. No thanks.

Tap @ Brewpub: Dark black, light tan head and nice lacing. Nose of mint and tobacco, almost like a menthol cigarette, nearly identical. The flavor is fresh and minty, but there’s nothing left of the porter. Finishes with mint, tail of mint, light roasty sweet residue for the mouthfeel. Wow, there’s a crap ton of mint in here. Bonus for the uniqueness, but I couldn’t finish a pint because it was making me noxious from all the mint.

UPDATED: JUN 20, 2007 On Tap at the BrewPub. Deep black with a full dense tan head. Aroma is moderately roasty and the mint is tjere as well. Flavor is big time mint. Took me a minute to pehg it...Spearmint. A bit much but interesting. A valiant effort.
