| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 5, 2009 12oz bottle. Pours pale orange amber with small quickly fading tan head. The aroma is mostly floral hops and citrus, although not powerful. Taste has toasty pale malts balancing out wonderful piney, citrusy hop flavors. Wulfstan (509), California, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Nov 3, 2009 This is a solid American Pale Ale, being rather light but still characterful and fairly well balanced. Slightly reddish deep gold, it has a medium, pale tan head that shirnks steadily to a foamy lasting ring and wisps. It has a hint of lace. Aroma’s light toasty grain, citrus, leaves, dust, and hay. It tastes similar, with lightly toasty grain with hint of caramelized bread, faintly burnt grapefruit and orange peel, green leaves. It has light sweetness balanced with light bitterness. It’s a bit too strong on the grapefruity-citrusy hops, making it seem slightly one-dimensional and mundane, but still has some complexity and balance underneath. Cavie (1369), Fort Worth, Texas, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Nov 1, 2009 Clear bright orange pour. Sticky hops mixed with a piney scent. Taste is smooth with an afterthought of pretty hops. Sweet flavor that is almost too sweet. Sharp feelings as well as some chemical elements. Not bad but restricting. hopheaven (83), Eureka, California, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 31, 2009 Cascade all the way, although through dry hopping or simply using fresh, fresh hops they’ve managed to extract some fairly impressive characteristics from an otherwised overused hop. The distinctive pine aroma is there but so is a lemony zest more reminiscent of Amarillo hops. This beer lacks much malt backbone. It’s thin, quaffable, with a moderate bitterness. It’s a session pale ale if ever there was one. Ibrew2or3 (2724), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 30, 2009 Courtesy of ditmier. Pours clear deep copper with light tan head. The aroma has a touch of pine hops to go along with crystal malts, some mild amounts of nuttiness and floral hops. The taste begins floral, pine and biscuit. It gets a tad roasty by midway with a dash of graininess. Into the finish a note of nuttiness blends into the remaining lingering flavors to create a tasty and balanced finish. Nice malt forward pale ale. TEJA (284), Stockholm, Sweden
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 26, 2009 Big white fluffu lasting head.
Light orange color. Fresh american hop aroma with a tuch of liqurish. The liqurish also present in the taste with a small hop taste. The bitterness is small but lingering. Mutualaid (136), Texas, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Oct 23, 2009 Pours a tawny copper with an abundant near-white head. Tons of lace. Soft aromas of toffee, peach, and hop-derived citrus. Assertive yet balanced grapfruity hop flavor is tasted first followed by a biscuity malt flavor, finishing nice and hoppy but a bit thin. Medium body. Definitely a fine brew and very sessionable; would be great with food as there are no aggressive flavors that may clash with the meal.
