Pours amber with a decent sized head. Nice citrus hops aroma. Good flavor, nice maltiness with a solid hop bite. Very nice pale ale.

This beer poured a nice reddish-amber color with good head formation of tiny bubbles that hung around for awhile, and then gradually dissipated to a scummy coating. Aroma is definitely discernible, but is fairly mild with some hop fruitiness. Flavor is balanced, with some nice maltiness accompanied by some very pleasant hop fruitiness. Mouthfeel is a quite light and pleasant.
This beer is highly drinkable...it’ll scratch your hop itch, but light enough to have a few. Definitely recommended.

Beautiful copper color, with a moderate head from the bottle. Great hop taste for a pale ale, with no off aftertaste. No overpowering hoppy aroma, but very sweet taste intially, followed by a slight bitterness. No lingering flavor. A personal favorite, especially after a long day at work or in the fall.

UPDATED: MAY 3, 2008 From tap in bar glass. A fine smoothness for a pale ale. Dense hop presence throughout but not overwhelming. The bite plays nicely with the malt. Satisfying finish without the offensive macho aggressiveness often found in other PAs. Clearly an above average pale ale here. Recommended.

Context may have help this one - first tried it after a long hike in Glacier Np. Regardless, a great well-balanced pale with enough complexity to keep me interested.

This was a pretty good pale ale but not that extraordinary. I would try this again though.

WBF. Didn’t take really good notes for this one. I remember it being decent, nothing special. Standard american pale ale, moderate hop presence and a decent malt balance.

I really liked this beer. Good hop aroma, good hop taste, not to malty, bitter. Cascades really come through. I would love to drink this again.

Subtle aroma of citrus, malt, and hops. Starts smooth ends slightly bitter, good balance. Tastes closer to an IPA to me. Very drinkable.

Bottle. I remember this beer being much better on tap. Not as dynamic in the bottle. Pours a nice roasted orange with thin white head. Tame malt and hops. On tap, I believe there is more hop and citrus flavor. The Inversion is more interesting.
