Commercial Description:
Tawny colored, full bodied Pale Ale. This ale has a distinctive, lingering hop flavor attained by adding copious quantities of Cascade hops throughout the brewing process.

Pours acopper orange with a tan headaroma of cascade and full malt nicely balanced slight bitterness on the tongue almost no real hop bite more like a copper ale than a pale in that regard good beer but not as strong in the flavor department as I prefer, possibly the lack ABV% results in less hop flavor to maintain the superior balance.

Enjoyable - although my rating is probably a bit unfairly low as I have only been able to drink this out of the bottle with no available glass - so the aroma and appearance probably aren’t getting a fair chance.... Anyway - nice Cascade aroma, but quite earthy. I’m going to pass on appearance, but the flavour is fairly bready, with not much lingering hop aftertaste. Medium body.

A nice pale ale. Fairly hoppy. Quite smooth with a semi-sweet aftertaste.

12oz bottle. Pours a clear, medium honey-orange color; bright white head with good retention and fine-bubbled lacing. Resiny, fresh earthy and floral hops in the aroma; some tree fruits and sweet malts. Medium mouthfeel: lots of sweet earthy and floral hops upfront; clean and resiny hop character; some earthy, basic candy sugar maltiness underneath; very drinkable, nicely composed APA. Medium finish: toasty malts, earthiness, and lingering dry bitterness; toasty and crisp.

Draught @ Horse Brass Pub, Portland. Pours a slightly hazy dark ambe color with a small off-white head. Has a malty hoppy citrus aroma. Sweetish malty hoppy citrus flavor. Has a sweetish malty hoppy bitter citrus finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste.

Bottle from WBF in Durham. Amber pour, off white head. This was surprisingly good... and very hoppy for a pale ale thanks to the abundance of Cascade hops. Skunky, resiny, citrusy, tasty hops. A bit thin. Good stuff.

Hazy amber pour, fluffy off white head. Citrus and grains on the nose. Thin bodied and very sessional. Citrus flavor. Long bitter finish.

Nothing special. A session amber, perhaps overpriced and overhyped. Thin an unobstrusive character.
