Dark amber beer with an off-white disappearing head; malty-citrus aroma; heavy hop flavor with a nice malt floor; finishes with hop bitterness and very slight malt sweetness

Bottle. Pours a light copper color with a thin light tan head. Aroma is a bit floral and citrus with a decidedly malty presence. Nice malty flavor that has a good balance with hops. Good citrus overtone. A very good pale ale, even though I prefer more hops in mine. If you’d like to try a pale ale without the in-your-face hops taste, try this one! I’d like to pair this brew with a good burger with all the trimmings on a warm summer day.

Bottle courtesy poonpillager. Pours a clear pale copper with a one finger off-white head that fades to a ring leaving some lacing. Aroma of citrus and floral hops with sweet malt and light caramel. Taste is the same as aroma. Medium mouthfeel with a mild to moderate amount of bitterness. Very good.

Pours dark amber from the bottle with a rich creamy head that stands up vigorously. Bouquet is floral and piny. Bitterness come through with carmel, nuts, and grapefruit. Mouth feel lacks a bit, but nice echo of bitterness and floral presence. One of my favorite ipas!

On tap. The pour was a dark gold / light copper color. A one-finger tall white that produced good lacing. The aroma was subdued, but malt and light citrus came out. Faint hints of floral with pine not really being a player in this one. The flavor was nice malt cut with tart citrus and some dry floral hoppiness. Unremarkable, but inoffensive mouthfeel. Decent.

Poured a light amber. Aroma of sweet malts and hops. Flavor is milder than I expected. More malty and fruity than hoppy. Still a very nice beer.

On tap at Port Carlsbad. Hazy amber with a nice creamy, white head that lingers. Hoppy aroma, a bit sweet, with hints of fruits. Lighter, hoppy taste. Light lingering bitterness. Very refreshing and tasty.

This golden amber ale poured wiith a nice beige head. There is a nice malt base with gentle hopping Tastes something like an English bitter.
